The FDA can suck my E-cig !!!

I am just new to this forum, but doesn't it seem more likely that if they ban/regulate anything, it would be the juice more then the devices ? There is a head shop any which direction I go within about 5 miles from my home and you can purchase blunt wraps at any gas station in the city. The devices can always be defended with "legal" uses.

First post, although I've been lurking for quite some time...
If they're playing to the stupid, why not use their own weapons? Media. Contact reporters and give the other side of the story in a nonvolatile, concise, and rational manner. The media loves a good conflict. While logic isn't the public strong suit, it doesn't help when the only voice our co-workers, neighbors, and friends hear is the self-important boom of a government agency. Given the economic and political tone of the country right now, many are pre-disposed to believe the little guy. And even the most avid anti-smokers would prefer e-cigs to analogs.

This seems to be coming at an odd time dont yah think? With all the talk of universal health care and all? Just thought I would throw that theory out there. If we do get government paid healthcare we will be denied many other pleasures in life as well. I just heard last night the gov wants warning labels on hot dogs!!!!!!!!!!

This thread almost feels like my fault! lol (It came right after I posted about what I should stock up on although I know mine wasn't the only post like that.)
I suppose you could say I'm still in that stage of feeling panic. That's how much I don't want to return to analogs. We have no way of knowing what fines or other punishments the govt might impose on us if we're caught buying/selling ecig supplies should they decide to do so. Many people here seem in a position to risk any minor infractions that they try to hand out. I'm simply not in a position to risk it. Thus my minor (far from overwhelming) feeling of panic.
For me it all boils down to "Prepare for the worst, hope for the best."

Yeppers, just as California is on the way to legalizing MJ. They figure that at a proposed $50 per ounce tax, that will raise $1.3 billion per year in pot taxes and sales taxes. (The sales tax is on top of the $50/ounce tax + whatever the retail price may be.)
Knowing that MJ is still a Federal offense, when asked, the US Atty Gen said that if California approved the measure (of which over 50% of voters favored), that it would NOT most likely seek prosecution of those in the State...
Guess the State of Calif figured it could not beat 'em, so it was time to join 'em and tax the crap out of it! Looks like Calif is looking out for uno!
Watch how fast the other states follow behind! POT FOR EVERYONE! (as long as you pay us our cut!)

Reality
The FDA are trying to say that vaping could be extremely dangerous for young people who do not know their limitations.
What i have noticed in the past week of vaping for the first time ever, is that I vape much more than i used to smoke. Smoking analogs doe not make me high...this does.
Don't get me wrong. I love this.
But the fact is that i noticed that since i started vaping my behavior has changed noticeably.
I am not going to lie to myself about this.
