Vinegar taste in JC juice

Yes! That's exactly what I've been noticing!!! This has turned me off to what used to be my favorite juice. I think the most recent batch will be my last for awhile.
It's like white vinegar on the exhale. I only notice it on TC and Vanilla IC on the latest batch I ordered. It also makes my throat hurt after a few hours, almost like I'm getting a cold. Stops almost as soon as I switch off. I smoke PG juices from several other suppliers with no problem, so I don't think the sore throat is a PG allergy, but who knows. Haven't noticed the aftertaste or sore throat yet with the Mint Choc Madness. (Making MCM the only JC flavor from last week's order that I can still stand to vape)
Is this same aftertaste in the VG, too? I've only tried the VG Orig. Tobacco... and I thought it tasted a bit... soapy or waxy.

Nate--Yes--it is in the VG as well. I know that they use vinegar as an ingrediant and I think they keep overdoing the use of it. The taste also starts to get stronger as time goes by. There quality control just is not there. I keep e-mailing them about the issue and I hope if we all do that get these "bad batches' , they will correct this issue.---

Welp, I realized the email I got from JC was actually notice that at some date TBD, the USPS will pick up my order from JC. I just checked the JC site and my order is "Processing". Not real happy, but thankfully I still have plenty left so I won't be without..............

Thanks for clearing that up, Sun. Guess that's a definite ix-nay on the VG then. I was thinking about exchanging my PG.
Glad to know it's not just me, too. And you're right... the longer I vape the stuff, the more pronounced the vinegar flavor becomes. My wife suggested that perhaps the vinegar taste was always there and I only began to taste it after my sense of taste and smell started returning. This may well be true, as I started noticing the taste in batches at around the 2-month smokefree mark... where many ex-smokers say taste really starts to come back.
Anyhow, here's how it goes with the TennCured: The first few puffs from a freshly filled cart or drip are generally fine, I might notice a little vinegary aftertaste... but not that bad Then, it almost seems like the different ingredients are vaping off at different temps/times, with the vinegar being left behind slightly. As the main flavorings vape off, it tastes more and more like vinegar. As I mentioned b4, attys also heats up very quickly on JC juices. I don't have this problem with other juices.
I think this is where the problem probably lies... the juice would be fine if the ingredients vaporize at the same temp, but it doesn't seem to do that.
On the bright side(for me, at least), Steve just announced that PureSmoker will be carrying the e-juices again! The main reason I went back to JC was because I had just opened my last bottle of Riskee. Hopefully I can stretch the bottle out until they start shipping.

Nate--I know--it is a long road when it comes to dealing with JC---I really wish they would get their quality control in check. Very frustrating!!! Sun

So far, I'm not feeling the love about their new policy of shipping within 48 hours. Nope.
As for the quality, I'm crossing my fingers. Thus far, that's not been an issue for me.
Well, I expected my order would have arrived by now, so I checked on the tracking. It shows having left the facility on Wednesday, 6/10, and is now en route. Apparently, there was a lag of a few days between the time the postage was printed and the time it was actually delivered to the post office.
In any event, it took them 9 days to get my order out.
This will be my last order with JC.

Since the last post here is nearly a month old, I thought I'd add my more recent experiences with JC.
I've had no problems with 3 separate orders from JC. Each one has taken a couple days to be shipped, but otherwise no delays (except a postal delivery delay due to the July 4th holiday.
I've gone thru a good amount of liquid so far, and no problems with discolorization or sediments, and no problems with atomizers. The only mixing I've done was with the Kona Coffee and Vanilla cut with VG to decrease the nicotine content, no problems with that either. I've tried both the PG and VG versions, and haven't noticed any vinegar taste.
In fact the only problem I've had so far was that I was getting far too much nicotine! My latest batch from JC was the 11mg strength, and that seems to be about right, perhaps a little on the light side.
So far the Tennesee Cured is my favorite, but the Original is good too, and my mixed Kona Coffee/Vanilla was very tasty (didn't particularly care for either one alone). The flavor of the mix was a little weak, but I attribute that to having cut it by half with VG. I've ordered more of each in 11mg strength to test that theory.

Just an FYI - I was a big fan of the old JC juice, the new stuff - I've now gone through a few drips of the Cherry, Tenn. Cured, and Espresso, in my Prodigy from PS, and all three are so sickly sweet it's like inhaling cotton candy. The old stuff was fine.

Windex---thanks for the report although I do not know if this is good news. I was very fond of the old Tenn Cured and Vanilla Ice Cream as they where not sweet---I can get that anytime using Lorann. This is going to be interesting when I get my next order in. Sun

Oh Geezzzzzzz, doesn't sound good.
I didn't want anything sweeter. Other than the Peach that was why I liked JC, well I have some coming soon, I will see.
