Is the 510 the new 901?

When I began to look for a model to vape a couple of months ago the general recommendation for a newbee was the 901.

Now I am beginning to see that the 510 is the model recommended most often for someone new to vaping.

If this is the case what makes it better than the 901?

I currently only own a 901 and am very happy with it. Should I consider switching, get a 510 in addition to or just stick with my 901?

I did alot of research when starting out. Found pro's and cons for both. I went with the 510 and pcc. easier to keep it going all day without sitting home charging batteries. I have puffed on a 901 and i kinda like the auto batts cause the 510 auto i got is crap compared to it.

now that the 901 is coming out with manual batteries it is possible the 901 may be the new 510

I have not tried the 901 but I can tell you that I love the joye510 with manual batts. I get good throat hit and lots of vapor most of the time. I have tried about 6-8 different liquids and all produce good vapor but some have more throat hit than others. If you are happy with yours, I would not worry about it. If you are looking for something more, then I would try the 510. The kits are only 40-50 on most sites. I love the pcc also as I can carry just two batteries and just switch when one goes dead and charge the dead one on the go. I don't have to worry about having a usb or wall outlet available. I have charged four batteries off of one pcc charge.

The 901 with the new manual battery is awesome. I think the vapor with the 901 is very very good and the flavor is so much better than the 510.

The 510 is the 901 with a PCC...The 901 is just a 510 where you can taste the juice...

Now you tell me? Would you rather carry around a couple spare batteries with you and enjoy the HUNDREDS of custom flavors available everywhere..Or have a PCC?

The 510 doesn't hold a candle to the 901

It seems like if it's a newer model and works decently then it gets lots of recommendations weather it is really superior or not. Human nature I guess, to want the latest.

Just my observation since joining the forum a couple of months ago.

When it comes to new high tech stuff I always wait for the 2nd or 3rd generation.... saves a boat load of money in the long run.
