Non-Supplier orders w/ customs issues?

I was just wondering if anyone has placed any recent orders with one of the China suppliers and had any issued getting them through customs? Are they just looking at the larger orders coming through and leaving the smaller orders that are for personal use alone? By smaller orders I would say under $300 or so because most of the time that is about what it takes to make it worth paying for the extra shipping.

placed several orders through Health Cabin in China and received them within 4 days with no problems.

I placed an order with a China supplier for under $70 and customs didn't even bother to open the package to look through it. I got it with no troubles at all.

I received a liquid order with a total of 640 ml the other week. I dont think there is a problem and there hasnt been.
