901 vs 901b?

I see. It's the option [901b pink/other] that is confusing - your poll choices should have been:

• White (matt)
• White (Shiney)
• Black
• Pink
• No difference

Up until yesterday I would have said white but I received a black one from Smokster that is the best yet.

Sorry, am I being an idiot? Is the pink actually a 901 rather than 901b?

For me the 901 white wins followed by pink 901! All the white 901s I have had (many) have smoked like mad with a massive whack of a throat hit! The pink one I had smokes as well as a white one but since I have only tested one pink I can't be sure. The black ones aren't as good and I have tried about 6 of those

That is what I am finding tribal, so weird seeing as, supposedly, its the same equipment. I also find the pink a better smoke and have seen it listed as a 901 so I'm wondering if only the black is a 901b?

Well so far I've tried 5 atomizers - 2 white, 2 black and a pink.

My 1st white one produced good vapour but died shortly after first use.
My 1st black one (bought as a spare) was not as good as my 1st white one - obviously it's better now since my 1st white one is dead.
Being reduced to one atomizer I ordered 2 more spares - a white and a pink - my 2nd white one is not as good as my (dead) 1st white one but is on par with my 1st black one.
My pink one is the worst of the lot - hard to suck and not as much vapour.
My 2nd black one came with an ECO kit from Smokster - it's better than all my other living atomizers and would be at least on par, probably a little better, than my (dead) 1st white one - if it was still alive.
I'm waiting on e-cig-world to send me a replacement for my (dead) 1st white one - hopefully it will be as good as my 2nd black one.

So it's as clear as the air in a room full of smokers - white is best unless you get a better black one - pink is the pits but then again you may have one that's better than my 2nd black one in which case I want one too
