,, wish I was more help on the throat hit.. I like what the penstyles have to offer for my needs.. One of my friends tried the KB because I liked it so much but she wasn't able to get what she needed so she went to a 510 model.. and that has been what worked for her..I found my comfort zone at 24mg for that morning vape and she found her's at 36mg we are all different. Don't think you will ever regret having the penstlyes they sturdy reliable e cigs, fully understand finding what works for you.

Does anyone else have a M-201 or know if this is normal, do they have a hard draw???

I am SO laughing right now! NOT at you! When I first got mine I was sucking so hard I'd pull the cart filler right down into the atty, got headaches and all.

Mine had a break in period. I used them on and off for about 2 weeks with no progress. Finally, I used them exclusively. It's SO different than a mini. Long slow drags do the trick. If you're at it constantly, you should break it in, in a couple of days. I still don't get the throat hit everyone raves over, but I do like it better for those times when I want a harder draw and to be able to feel the amount of vapor I'm inhaling. I've vaped everything from 11mg to 24mg in it and find no difference in throat hit. But that's just me, everyone varies. I also only use strong tasting liquid in it because I personally don't taste anything with the lighter flavors.

I think Figurehead is a throat hit wimp (just kidding, the dude eats fire!)
I also don't get the awesomeness of the 510 everyone else does either, which is strange from an ex-ultra light smoker I think.
I'm still seeking the ultimate PV - Waiting impatiently for Litecig/True Smoker's mod.

Where do you get strong flavors from? I'm trying DIY. I tired Liquidxpress, can barely taste them, no matter how strong I make them.

I like you! I just love your sense of humor Lalesa! I never even thought about it but if you can handle eating fire, what kind of throat hits do you expect? Or even feel for that matter.

I'm waiting for Litecig's/Truesmoker's mod too. I'm hoping that since it'll work with my 201, that will help. It'ls too bad there wasn't a manual batt.

I have the same issue with flavor's, I am trying to find some strong flavors i can taste

Right now I am using TAB (Turkish A-something Blend) from Good Prophets - its a tobacco flavor - a little sweet but at least I can taste it in the M201 Though I do like it better in any other device I have. Maybe its Turkish American Blend - I don't remember - Its just called TAB. If you like cappuccino that makes it through. BUT be prepared to really wash your atty when you change from that flavor. It just stays on everything!

Other flavors that make it through are Litecigs Kiwi and I think watermelon makes it. Orange is nothing but its good in my minis which I use mostly. Johnson creek flavors are pretty strong - might try that sometime.

I'm not gonna talk about Figurehead - I saw the video of him chasing that girl with a hatchet! Clowns freak me out anyway - but HIM! Damn, he's a walking, talking clown nightmare! LOL
Not to mention, If I knew how big he was, I probably wouldn't have ordered a penstyle - it just looked smaller when he held it.

So far, it's been a few days, and I'm liking the 201 better now, except the draw is sooo hard, just wish there was something I could do to make it easier, so I won't be using it as much.

I'm looking forward to the Litecig's/Truesmoker's mod for the M201 and maybe that'll help, I hope, kindof exprensive way to find out , ik.

I'm lost trying to choose a e-cig. But I am in Colorado!

I want something that will last 10 hours (typical work day with commute), probably about the size of a regular analog cigarette. When it comes to "juice" I get lost in teabags and cartridges, and, and, and...

For flavour, probably a vanilla as I don't enjoy the tobacco flavor much - just can't seem to quit them darn analogs yet...

    TIA

DSE801 lasts around 8 hrs with a reg. battery, and around 10 - 12 hrs with a manual push button. It looks like an ink pen and is the same size as one.

E-cig's that most resemble tobacco cigs, have shorter battery life. That's why I went with the penstyle 801 and I LOVE it! I stopped smoking after 31 years of smoking 1-2 packs a day. I got my e-cig on July 11th, and haven't had an analog ever since! I don't even want them and I enjoy vaping with my e-cig waaaaay more than I did smoking.

Probably still the wrong thread - but ...

What is the difference between a DSE801 and a DSE901? What little I can see on some sites they look identical and the starter kits come with the same things - except the SKU number.
