I thought your comment was very understandable indeed Trog... and so it made me feel the need to add the (small) added outcome of the newest (afaik) contact with the doctor. What you do with that added small piece of info and whether it makes any difference at all for you as to the whole - that's up to you of course. Why would there be anything wrong with that?

Couldn't he have just given us a circuit diagram so we could try ourselves? Reminds me of the Pandora, a portable handheld Linux games computer, a project almost too good to be true, started in a garage or something and designed by a very small team, you just know it looks kewl but have doubts it will ever make it and turn into vaporware!! Luckily for Pandora, prototypes are out there and they are nearly ready for final release! Lets hope this device makes it that far!!

For this device to be of use to people it will need to be a lot cheaper than $150...that was the price right? If it even works, why pay 150 bucks when I can just buy 15 new atomizers? just my

I think you make a good product at a fair price Trog, but comments like these are why I will never purchase anything from you!

It is a good idea, applying a pulse width modulated signal to the the atomizer at the resonant frequency of PG would excite the molecules making it easier to vaporize reducing power consumption and extending battery life. Using pulse width modulation also allows you to adjust the duty cycle for optimum atomizer temperature (no overheating, longer atomizer life) and would further reduce power consumption hence longer battery life. You could even just turn it on and smoke it auto shutoff after ~5min (approx time to smoke a cigarette). Although it would waste a lot of juice that way.

Not sure but it sound like he did not design the circuit, had it out sourced i would assume . If you want to build one just look in the datasheet for any micro controller capable of pulse width modulation, they will have examples of hardware and software.

Yeah I'll proly get flamed to hell, but it is meant as constructive criticism. I mean losing sales because of a big mouth is not the best business plan! I am a small business owner myself (not ecigs) and I just like to see the small guys succeed!

I would have to agree with this. I support nice constructive people. The Janty folk have always been very cordial, and that goes a long way. I hate to see Trog being such a debbie-downer about a new product that might compete with his.
