Tarzan, you could look at the manufacturers site to see if they are working with Rohs-certificate; and then look up what rohs means. Most manufacturers do make their devices rohs-certified (if not all). So they aren't leaving us out in the dark as much as you fear perhaps.
Always good to have it confirmed though of course!

Thanks for the testing

And has there been a post here about lead free solder in the electronics?
I now vape with sealed manual batteries, even with my flashlight mod the battery chamber is sealed from the vape path just in case my Li-ion battery starts to vent.

Very well done Sun Vaporer, don't know how I missed this thread.
Was that XRF they used for anaysis ?,
must have been quite expensive to commission testing of all those samples,
great to see the definitive 'no lead' result.
Rocketman, the solder used in the atomizer has been tested & was lead free,
(don't know about any of the internal electronics in the battery part)
see this thread :

It is possible that we breathe in some tin though in some form; tiny amount though and by no means certain (tin was found in the deposit material by Exo).

Testing was done on the inside as well as the outside of each device.
I find this to be good news and worth the time and money.

That's great news, I didnt think there would be led in there, but with China's rep you could never be too sure. Just curious how did you test it for led?
