they leave the charger at 4.2 volts.. during use they lose voltage.. when they hit around 2.7 volts the protection circuits blinks and switches them off..
its obvious a 4.2 volt battery works better than a 3 volt one.. so keep them in the upper voltage range whenever possible.. like when you are sat next to the charger..

ps... for those that like exact figures.. 4.2 volts is the high cut off point... 2.7 is the low one..
Wow Trog, that makes sense. I've noticed I've gotten more vapor from a batt fresh off the charger than one I had sitting for hours. I'll try that. Thankyou so much. You are all so helpful!

Another great tip. Thanks! Will incorporate that into my routine when I'm near a charger.... Just switched now and you're right.
