Am I the only one that finds this kind of strange? I know this is an older thread but I just stumbled across it and found it to be great info. Im newer and have been using e-cigs for a couple weeks and doing a lot of reading to get with the program. I read on Ruyan's website that they just won a copyright or patent lawsuit last week or so for the technology used in e-cigs. I can't help but wonder how this will effect these other manufacturers in China from here on out and what will be available to consumers in the future.

If you use the SEARCH for patent you will find the discussions here about this issue.

Thanks for the info, Karyts! I just got 5 901 batts from bestecig, and they have no markings on them at all (I looked with a magnifying glass, no discernible marks.) I wonder who made them?
I'm wondering because, unlike my other 901 batts (one of each make you describe, it turns out), these new batteries light up at the slightest pressure or movement. I'm a little worried because I work in a very loud (earplugs loud) environment. We'll see if they burn a hole in my pocket (pun intended).

I have an RN with an "NO901" on the batt who makes this?

Someone, I think it was Spikey, mentioned her PiLOT suffered from the same problem. She recommended that you take one of the little plastic caps from 901 carts (to keep them fresh when they're new?), and pop it over the LED, on the end of the ecig.
I tried that with my new PiLOT which lit up when I stood outside in a breeze, and it works brilliantly. Blow on the end without the cap on...lights up. Blow on it with the cap on....nothing!
It may help with noise too, I don't know, but worth a try?

Both of my batteries from TW 901's say "N09021B"
who makes those?

Shaky... I ordered a "2009 901" and just got it today. The batteries are exactly as you described; no markings whatsoever, and the slightest noise activates them; I think these are the microphone activated batteries like the M401's have. I noticed that the threads are different from other 901's. This "new" battery is supposed to last for up to 12 hours. We'll see how that works out.

I tried the thing with putting the rubber cartridge "condom" on the LED end. It seems to work very well. Yeah, these things are really sensitive. Sounds like we both got some new version of the 901 batt here.
5 batts for $40, though, 5 days shipping from China... still a good deal as long as they do the job.

So... any details like these on the difference between the RN4062 and DSE701 e-cigars?
