hare trigger battery
I recently bought some spare batteries for my DSE103 from china ... one of which seems to have a hare trigger ... even shaking the battery can set it off, and sometimes it doesnt switch off after you finish sucking.
Is there anything that I can do with it or should I give up on it ever being a useful battery and use it for experimentation?

I would bin it - if it's flashing when you're not smoking it could kill your atomiser. Just my tuppence.

There's a trick you can try with a paper clip to try to fix the problem. It has something to do with poking through the hole in the battery case and manipulating the automatic switch. I can't be specific because I don't know how it works but someone might chip in with better instructions. Don't throw it away just yet, you may be able to salvage it.

sometimes the paper clip trick will help a stuck or sticky switch. never tried it on a really sensitive battery though.
