I'm looking to stock up on 901 attys, and I want to make sure I get the 'right' ones. I know that a 901 atty is a 901 atty, so to speak, but I also know that slight design variances between different suppliers can make a difference.

So, here's what I'm looking for:

Silver or chrome 901 attys at a good price that you've personally used many of and have had great results with. I'd also like to know that you've tested one from a recent order, so that I can be sure that what is currently available is solid. Yes, I'm thorough.

I'm looking to buy a pile of these for the long haul, so I'd really appreciate your input. Please be specific, and include the supplier you recommend (and why) in your response. I really don't want to leave any room for errors here and get stuck with a stockpile of crappy 901s.
