Attention newbies- alot of misinfo out there!

Just got into this for about a week, the first thing I did when researching was to watch Spikey47 vid. good grief! well now, I know better, that vid should be pulled! The battery info is COMPLETELY WRONG for one thing!
All the cleaning info is confusing, some of the general stuff is ok, but geez, that vid would scare most people away from this fantastic alternative............just sayin'
check the Tech threads on here for updated info........

this is a pretty easy switch over from cancer sticks!
buy liquid, keep yer cart filled
battery is charged when light turns green (about 2 hours)
rinse atomizer in hot water and let dry, when it doesnt seem to work right.

So you've been doing this for about a week you say and you havn't even been a member here for a whole week and your going to tell me you know more about this than Spikey who has been doing it for nearly 9 months? That video she made is one of the best there is and it would not be a sticky at the top of this page if it wasn't. It's been viewed over 26,000 times and has page after page of complimentary comments. Yours is the first disrespectful one I've ever read. A complete newbie like you should not be making comments like this IMO.

wow really? really? i can't believe this. wow i am speachless. spikey's videos are the most comprehensive to vaping i have ever seen. in order to do it right she is the person you should look to. wow. every newbie should look at her video. i would reccomend as a newbie to not kick around her name this way and disrepect her in this way. if you have a comment on her stuff leave a note on her page where the video is. everyone that has watched the videos has never had an issue with her and u are..wow been what vaping for a week have ya? hmmm...wait till you go back to her video to figure out why what u are doing is wrong....lol good luck

I remember watching the vid before my first purchase. Sure, it seemed a bit overwhelming then, and when my first ecig came in. But as soon as it wasn't a new, alien thing anymore, and as soon as I started seeing the quirks of my new hobby, I went back to the video. By that time I was ready to take advantage of Spikey's experience, and was glad she put the effort into helping us all.

You just might see this differently in another week or two. Even if you don't, you really didn't have to insult it. You've been around all of one week. A lot of people have been benefiting from Spikey's hard work for a long time.

I think in another week when this poor guy starts having problems and goes "I don't know why this doesn't work" and everyone says "maybe you should go watch Spikey's video.. that would answer your questions!" he will feel like a giant douchebag lol

But more seriously MREXE.... if ya ever have any questions... I have used every non-modified model on the market except about 3 or 4 and most of the larger mods and high voltage models (except the GG cause my lips are not blessed enough to touch the immortal PV) as well and I know the ins and outs (no perversity intended) of all of them... and if ya ever need help.... feel free to PM me

And I will add.. that one of the things I have considered editing out of this video is that I rarely clean out atomizers anymore other than blowing the excess juice out or burning off the crud if they are beyond use... but I still wouldb't say cleaning them once in a while is a bad thing.

hard not to defend something that is very well put together and informative. and knowing how you are with people and willing to be as helpful as you possibly can..well really ticked me off to put it bluntly....

as i said mrexe good luck. but i could bet almost 100 to 1 that you will re watch the video for tips. either that or you will be the one asking the same questions over and over..but most people are willing to help.

I've been vaping for quite some time now, and think the video is very informative.

May I ask exactly what battery info is wrong or misleading?
Also the atty information?

You've complained about misinformation, but haven't elaborated on any one issue.

Complaints are welcomed, but without specific information, your complaint has no credibility.

I've never watched Spikey's vids. Only because where I live has no broadband. (*gasp* The horror!) My wife wanted to move somewhere where she could have horses, so I had to give up my DSL and go back to dialup. We have satellite internet as well, but we're only allowed 300MB per day download. The sheer amount of suckage is mind boggling. As much as I wanted to watch the vids, there was just no way to do it unless I wanted to download for a day or two... or more.

But even I knew that OP was gonna get his butt handed to him for that comment.
