Need advice from 510 owners !!!

it is a E-cig that is powerd by a usb port so there is no battery well some have a battery but it will be your best friend just order one hehe

A passtrough is essentially a device that plugs into a USB port for power instead of using your PV battery. Computer powered vaping! The passthough does contain a battery itself, which I have assumed is to moderate current flow since I doubt the USB standard 50mA or so would ignite out vaporizors, but the battery can supply that and the 50mA from USB will keep that battery charged up between puffs. And as mentioned before, the passthough can be used as the PV battery in a pinch, just with a long wired attached to it.

Hey I'm brand new to vaping I just got my 510 today and the manual it came with says to let it charge for 8hrs the first time... my battery just died and idk if i can wait 8hrs before i smoke again XD does it really matter?? can i just wait for the light to go green and smoke or should i listen to the manual =/ lol idk i figured the best people to ask would be experienced 510 owners

Looks like you went ahead and started vaping but I will through my 2 cents in anyway I did do the 8 hr then 20 minute thing. My batterys last about an hour and a half to two hours and constant vaping. I am getting my PCC today in the mail ever hear about one of those? It will allow me to vape up to 6 times longer before I have to plug anything into a wall. which means 9 to 12 hours of vaping for me. Cant wait for the mail.

thats awesome i got my blu in the mail today so idk im gonna buy a pcc for the 510... i might keep the 510 for home use and use the blu for on the go... i gotta break in the blu's atty before i make that decision though so i can really see if i enjoy the blu enuff to do that lol... i didnt do the 8hr thing and i get about an hour of constant vaping which is meh but w/e i can always buy new batteries right?

Couple of things. The blu has a mic activated auto switch, so it's not as good for "out on the go" because it will go off from loud music, wind, shaking... and although you've got a PCC for it, you'll drain batteries much more because the batteries will be activating when you don't even know it--even when charging in the PCC. I have a feeling you're going to want your 510 for everything and pretty much forget about the blu, but some people like it. Grab a PCC for the 510, or one of the big batt mods if you're not worried about it looking like/same size as a real cigarette.

If you get a passthrough, don't even bother with the cheapo ones with the thin wire and inline battery. Get the Puresmoker Passthrough. It costs more, but it runs at 5v (waaaayyyy more vapor and flavor than any standard battery/passthrough) and is super well-made. It's so worth the extra cost it's not even funny.
