    Default Two general questions

Hoping you uys can answer two questions i have

    1. when seating the cart (i have done the straw mod to it btw), should the material touch the bridge? or should it be away from it?

    2. I want to get into mixing as it seems a great way to make my own flavors and save money, but can I ask, how long does one of those Lorann flavorings last? I.E Ballparking, how many drops would i get out of a bottle? enough to last a while? Or will I get through them like water?

I have had best luck with the cart filler touching the bridge, but not pressing it into the cart much, if at all. As for Lorann flavors, some are stronger than others. I generally keep mine in the 10-15% range, some of the more subtle flavors do well in the 20-25% range (i.e. marshmellow). The 1 dram bottles last a good bit. I think I've used 2-3 drams of flavoring in the past month.

    I hope this helps.

Cheesecake, Marshmellow, Pralines and Cream are probably my 3 favorite Lorann's. Marshmellow does well as a "sweetener" with most flavors.

Here's a link in the DIY section where a lot of people have posted their recipes -
