Hi Chokmah.

Knowing how much nicotine your brand of cigarettes gives you makes a difference.

If you smoke 40 and they are 1mg each then you are used to 40mg of nicotine per day. That's 2.5ml of 16mg eliquid.

If you smoke 40 and they are 0.7mg each then you are used to 28mg of nicotine per day. That's 1.75ml of 16mg eliquid.

Awesome thanks a ton Kate! I am pretty sure they are the 1mg they are the full flavor 100s. There were days that I would smoke more than 40 but averaged it out to that. I am guessing the itchyyness I am feeling today is withdrawls from no analogs rather than the e-cig or nic I have used so far today. ( I havent increased that from prior use) I didnt want to over do the nicotine though as that would be way unsafe. Now that I know I can guage my usage even through normal quiting withdrawl symptoms and not confusing the two if that makes sense..

I hope it works out well for you. Remember, if you get strong cravings and might fall off the wagon, a bit more nicotine is nothing to worry about compared with smoking.

I asked on another thread how much to put in a 901 cart....

They said .5 ml which is about 5-8 drops...

I guess it all depends ...

Another math-challenged person here. I smoked about 60 light 100s per day when I was smoking. Most of my juice is around 12 mg - how much would I use to be equivalent to what I was smoking? I want to lower it, but certainly not exceed it.

Also, I use a DSE801 and I stupidly ordered carts with "high" nic from ruyandirect. They don't specify how much juice is in each cart nor exactly what mg nic is in the "high" carts. I use about a cart a day, then refill it with the 12 mg juice when it starts to get dry. Is there any way for me to figure out how much nic I'm using every day?

My dropper observations: E-liquid dripper bottles (MyVaporStore) of 24 mg juice are 40 drops per ml. A common glass eyedropper from a 30 ml glass bottle also measures 40 drops per ml when dispensing PG.

I know I am very late at joining and especially finding this thread...

I haven't bought my first e-ciggie yet, because I'm still looking at the offers of models and the various sites.. I do know that I want to refill..

Here's my problems with this "ml stuff"... I have no clue as to how many mg's my analogs contain, and searching online has gotten me nowhere..

Not sure if they have them on the USA brand packs or what, but I've been buying mine through an online/call-up company (NY State Native American Reservation), so if normal ciggies have the mg amount on the package to check it, these are certainly from another country since there is no sign of the mg's on the packs or cartons..

All I know is that I smoke approx 1-1 1/2 packs a day of a menthol light 100... I guess they would be similar to Salem Light 100's???

I really want to get this all straightened out before I order my e-cigs... Plus I also know I want to be able to buy the large bottles mainly, and don't know how many bottles I'd need to get me at least a month's worth..

I'm sorry to bother anyone with this long list of questions.... I hope to begin the vap-ing asap, and to learn enough to be able to contribute to this forum....
