Default anyone try the licorice ?

i have got to sample one seller's licorice and much i was anticipating a good full-bodied anise, i was sadly disappointed. i thought licorice would be fairly recognisable as it has such a bold unique flavour that masks everything it touches and im a bit of a fan but with this i can barely taste a thing all. im going to end up spiking it with some rum essence possibly. did i just get a bad batch or is that case all round ? anyone ever try it ?

    definitely didn't turn bertie.

    Funny vid, ha.

I don't really like licorice but I ordered some Janty fennel by mistake. It's lovely in small doses, I use a couple of drops every ten or so to keep a bit of the flavour going in my atomiser. If you're a licorice fan you might enjoy this full time.

fennel eh ? might try this one. i wonder who else sells it. i figure a lot of it comes from the same pot.

interesting fact from a random web-site i dont know whether to believe:
"90% of the licorice used as a flavoring is used to flavor tobacco. Licorice candy contains small amounts of licorice, but the main flavor ingredient of licorice candy is anise."

I use licorice in my coffee and flue-cured mix. Since the licorice is so strong I add 2 drops per 10ml of mixture.

I remember reading somewhere that most US cigarette blends have licorice in their "casing", the liquid they spray shredded tobacco with, along with god knows how many other things as the flavouring. Not enough to notice on it's own I guess.

I used to smoke roll ups with licorice paper.I got some licorice from Janty. It didn't taste like anything, apart from a bit of sweetness. Really disappointing considering what a strong flavor licorice is. Maybe I got a bad bottle?

I've tried the liqourice juice from e-cig.co.uk for wetting atomizers and the fennel carts from Janty. Both have plenty flavour.
I prefer vanilla at the the moment but the liquorice/fennel make a pleasant change.
