Oh, and what is "OP?" In John's response via Jen Jen, he said "12 posts with the OP..." I know it's got to be ridiculously simple but I'm at a loss lol.

Ha ha! I knew it was simple! Thanks Kent.
I've been reading through some of the threads and I'm getting more and more excited to try this out. I can't wait to get some experience and start playing around with different flavors. I have looked at a few supplier websites and I'm surprised at how cheap the juices are! What is really impressive is how many people talk about feeling so much better off the analogs. One lady even said she got to go off all of her asthma meds. That is very encouraging for me because I think I'm starting to develop asthma and I don't need anything else added to my list of ailments! Also, the person who posted in this thread about how much easier it is to exercise when you can actually BREATHE. I will definitely be boosting my exercising if that happens for me.

I would like some advice and I'm thankful that the people here seem really sincere and helpful. I don't trust asking salespeople or companies that sell the products. Users are always the best place to start in my opinion. I had no idea there were so many suppliers or variations of e-cigarettes. Now I'm nervous to purchase them. There is a lot of good advice on this forum...but a lot of it goes over my head because I'm so new to the subject.
Okay, to the point. My situation is this. I love the act of smoking. I am addicted to it as well. If I don't smoke, it feels like my skin is going to peel off on its own. A few months back, I tried the nicotine gum and it worked well for me - except I missed the act of smoking and the gum is expensive for me. Not that cigarettes aren't. I live in Michigan where the cost of cigarettes is astronomical - the cheapest pack I can find in my brand (Marlboro Menthol Milds) is $5.94. Typically, the average price of my brand is around $6.35/pack. However, I am poor - poverty stricken really. Coming up with $6 or so for a pack of cigarettes is much easier for me than coming up with $60 for a box of gum...............
Thanks!

I personally went through electronicstix.com -and so has everyone else I know- We have all had great dealings with Jason. I have the Joye 510. It's roughly the diameter of a Camel wide, a little longer though. It hits well, has great battery life, and I have had great sucsess with it. it has drawbacks as well, it looks more like a fancy pen, and is a lil different to hit...I sometimes feel like a crack addict the way I hold it. But all in all, I wouldn't give mine up for nuthin'.
As far as the juice, I get mine from the same place, The menthol taste more like a nice mint- which I don't mind- but the chocolate doesn't remind me of a hershey bar either...but it doesn't taste bad, just different. The 2 flavors a awesome mixed though! Think mint choco chip ice-cream!
But keep doing research and find whats right for you, but I can garantee you won't regret your decision! After startup costs your upkeep will be 1/3 of the cost of ciggs or more!
Good luck!

I would suggest only getting manual batteries if you want one that is closer to the consistency and warm feel of the real thing.
I have to agree that the more it looks like a real tobacco cigarette the poorer the performance. I to recomend the joye 510. It is small but packs a great experiance in flavor and vapor production. The battery life is short so you will always want to keep a battery charging while using the other. I would recomend a usb passthrough also so you do not have to use up your batteries when you are at home near your computer. The companies I use for 510 purchases is cignot and awesomevapor. Both companies have good prices but cignot is the cheapest. The other thing to keep in mind is that there will be differences between ecigs and tobacco cigarettes. The tobacco flavors will be much different than the tast of a cigarette. there are also many other options for flavor. Switching to ecigs is easy but you will most likely have to be patient and stick with it for a couple days then it gets much easier. I would suggest getting a couple of different e-liquids to use at first just incase you dont like what comes in the starter kit. I personally have been analog free for 2 years with the help of ecigs. I was a 11/2 pack per day smoker and made the transition over the weekend and have never used an analog since. Actually I take that back. I had a rocky work bench in my garrage so the corner is shimmed up with a full pack of cigarettes. people really do have great success with ecigs as I am optimistic that you would too.

Please post a reply on the New Members forum to let Pandora know that you have bagged her a kit - I cannot post on that forum as a supplier.

JenJen will be gathering the address and making sure it gets there.
Cheers
John.

I offer a tip of the cap to you, Sir -- and, your site will be bookmarked on this end.
Me too. It's rare these days to see someone reach out.

Yes, it's great. When I am in a position to do so, I plan on "paying it forward."
