Default What makes the ecig "moody"?

You all probably know... sometimes the ecig will vapor like a fog machine, and sometimes wimp...
difference will be with same atomizer on the same day, same temperature, same liquid etc.
I was thinking that it may be the battery mood (same fully charged battery) and not the atomizer.
    What do you guys think?

To me it seems like a combination of things,
The battery charge or lack there of,
    The switch working correctly,
The juice that was able to reach the coil on that try,
    The cart leaching correctly,
    The coil heating up correctly,
The way you draw on the ecig also counts. Once in a while you need to hit it hard to get the fluid out of the cart. A light long draw works great for a good hit, but light does not always pull enough fluid out of the cart. Once in a while you need to hit it hard.
Its all give and take to get consistancy.

The fact that e-cigs can be "moody" is part of their charm, and in this they are similar to smoking tobacco pipes. Lots of potential causes. Batteries do fade over time and are not as "punchy" as when new, although I hear that Trog's Screwdriver is good in this regard. Once key factor is YOUR mood - if you're as jumpy as a cat on hot bricks then you may vape too rapidly and too hard. E-cigs smoke best when your mood is balanced, imho.

Funny you should bring this topic up, I was thinking the same thing. However yesterday I noticed that when I carried the e-cig in my jacket pocket in a vertical position, the e-cig was not moody, but when I lay it down on my desk it becomes moody. Maybe someone needs to make e-cig stands if my crazy theory is true.....

I know what makes them moody and its those bloody batteries! They start lasting half an hour sometimes and then do a self clean making the atomiser and me moody!! No worries for the trusty 901, it tastes nice again after a few mins but the penstyles get REALLY ANGRY! They spew lava and metal tastes that last for days! Then I drip too much I wreck the batteries!! I have given up on penstyles or have I? Nope! They are great when working before a cleaning cycle and have charm to them so I couldn't resist the Midnyte classic from www.e-cigs.co.uk its going to be my 3rd penstyle wish me luck!!
