Random Person: Hey man, you got an extra smoke? ME: (Exhale a large cloud of vapor) No, sorry, I don't smoke. Random Person: But...You just... Huh? ![]() Quote:
Up here in the America's Hat a 20 of Marlboros cost $8.25 I jumped around a lot of brands (Had maybe 10 mainstays and flipflopped between them and experimented sometimes). Most often I got Belmonts and those ranged from $9.50 to $10.75 (for a 25) depending on where I went, or Du Maurier which ranged from $10 to $11.25. When I quit I was smoking Davidoff and those were nine something... I only had a couple packs before my 510 got here. | ||

I miss not having to plan an outing around where I would buy more. I miss not waking up every few hours in a raging nic fit. I miss not getting hot sparks ruing my facial hair. I miss not getting hassled for extra cigs. I miss not getting kissed by hot women because I smell like nummy cookies. ( yes happened while I was outside vaping, wish I would have gotten her number I miss taking a sanity break when my boss smoked. No that he has quit NO ONE gets their breaks.

Great thread! I miss my my hair being different lenghts when shortened by the lit tip. I miss blowing the ash off my laptop. I miss cleaning tar off my kitchen tiles. I miss booking trains journeys with stop-offs just so i can grab a cig. I miss booking 'smoking' hotel rooms. |

I miss having an empty, cat-less lap. I miss having a spaz attack and dropping a lit cig between the driver's seat and the console. Cigs fit... a hand will not. I miss having a spaz attack and dropping a lit cig between my legs while driving on an expressway, resulting in burned fingers trying to find it, and/or having it go even further under my ass. I miss how 8-hour workdays mysteriously turned into 6 hours of actual work with just a few "quick smoke" breaks. |

I miss dropping a cig, and not having a clue where it was until I could see the smoke cloud.

I miss that special glow on the windshield when I'm driving toward the sun. I miss the welcoming smell of stale tobacco smoke when I walk in the door. I miss the first 2 fingers of my right hand having that special essence. I miss rushing out at 11 pm regardless of the weather to get cigs because there may not be enough to last until I go out the next morning. |

Someone should really put this stuff into a PSA for high school and college age people. Cancer is so far away its easy to discount. You may not even die of smoking. I don't think people fully understand all the pitfalls of smoking when they start. I don't I didn't. ![]() -Gooney0 |
