    Default First day with 510...not feeling very well

    I've been using it since 1 pm (it's 6:30 pm now) with no top-offs needed yet and with 12 mg juice. I have not been chain-vaping. I had a few regular cigs this morning and only 3 since I got going with vaping. I feel headachy and strange. Am I doing something wrong, or is this common for a new vaper?

    I know when I first started I felt a little sick but I got over it quick If you continue to feel bad you could be allergic to the pg. Did you charge the batteries for thre 8 hrs? (Not that that has anything to do with you feeling sick), Id give it a few more days Dont give up. Give up the analogs if anything. People react in all different ways to the ecig at first. I felt sick to my stomach, but after a day or so I loved it Ill never ever go back to analogs

    You might also want to check out the link below regarding nicotine withdrawal symptoms;

    headache is one of the symptoms listed. If you continue feeling "off", I would suggest to see your doctor.

    Yeah, I just feel achy --not really nauseous. I have a headache and I feel slightly achy all over. Not sure how I would know if it's the PG or not....

    Could be the PG, but sounds more like too little nic to me. That is how I feel when I don't get enough. If you smoke a lot, 12mg is not nearly enough no matter how you vape...

    Try drinking more water - or water if you haven't been.

    But I too would say that you're probably not getting the same level of nic you got from your analogs. There was a study done recently that showed the level of nic in the blood stream was much less from vaping than regular cigs.

    I was a pack a day smoker and run with 18mg - but I like to vape a lot during the day. If I wanted to vape like I use to smoke...go outside for 1 every 2 hours or so...I'd probably go up to 24mg. Just to give you a "basis"

    I smoked about (not quite) a pack a day and started with 24 mg. Then I upped it and started to feel 'right'. At this moment, almost 2 wks, I am vaping 36 mg on average. It works fine for me, no problems at all. You might want to up the nic as you are probably experiencing withdrawals from the lack of paper, glue...ammonia...arsenic...you get the pic Oh, and I have a 510, magnificent beast!

    I received my 510 last Friday at 9:30 AM. My partial pack of cigs went into the drawer and will never come out again. I smoked 1 to 2 packs a day for 45 years and was never able to even slow down (tried gum and patches off and on). I ordered 24mg e-juice. May have been too strong, but I am really having very little if any discomfort. I haven't even really wanted an analog since I put them away. I tend to agree that you might want to try a stronger e-juice.

    One more thing; Did your 510 come with 5 prefilled carts. I know they do from Healthcabin. Those carts are high nic carts (either 18mg or 24mg). If you have them, give one a try. I vape quite a bit, but I smoked a lot also. As soon as I start getting a weak hit I top off with 4 or 5 drops. Good Luck getting off the analogs.
