You can find all batteries in PROTECTED version except 10440 which is to small to jam in a protected circuit, that's why Janty Stick has a battery and a battery protection circuit board.
Surprised? Now you know it at your own expense.
What a waist!!!

That is waste, not waist...

Looks like 2 wire going to the battery- No Protection
I used an inline regulator in my mod- but it's only on the 5 volt side. I not as technical as I seem- I think it provides some protection to my CR2's from de-charginh too far. Since it will only let them get down so fast.

Crash..that was just dumb. You do have the right to destroy your property just as we have the right to laugh at you for doing so

amen nuck.
all this panic about unprotected batts makes me wonder how many here have had a battery go up on them? I've got about 60 different batts, running in all sorts of mods and have so far only had 1 cr2 go bad, and when I say go bad I mean not work, not explode, not shoot flesh burning acid in my eyes, not go up like a roman candle, just not work. Why so much fear mongering over this when we're all more than willing to choke down bottles and bottles of an unregulated, untested liquid that's being burnt in unregulated atomizers that have been built and shipped from a country that as shown little regard for safety in any consumer produt manufactored.
I just realized, there's a chance my cars gas tank could explode, guess I should go out and blow it up before it gets the chance.
The only good thing that came out of this thread is Trogs uber cool cut away pics of the SD and the subtle hint that something new is coming out of his workshop.

I got personal satisfaction out of it

How many hours did you have to work to earn that money?

I know that when I was building a charge circuit for lithium batteries I did short out a 18650 protected. No pop no fizzle just no voltage out of the battery since the protection blew..
