    Default First cleaning cycle...

and I didn't catch it in time to get it apart before that disgusting burnt flavor showed up. So how often does this happen on a dse901? And how does everyone deal with the flavor issue? Thanks everyone.

Yeah ... the self cleaning sure is a sour spot in the ecig world.

Like Shawn stated, you can either try and drown it out (40-50 puffs atleast) or give it a bath! good luck viper!

P.S. = My PM Mailbox gets really full, really fast, so bear with me if it takes me a few days to get to your PM :) Don't forget, you can always contact us at info@puresmoker.com :)

Thanks Steve. I ended up swapping atomizers and giving it a nice hot bath. I don't want to waste my only day off this week vaping a nasty flavor half the day.

Haha ... let us know how the bath does! Smart idea switching out atomizers though!

Just happened to me as well.. not a pleasant taste (although not unbearable). What's the thing doing during this "cleaning" cycle, anyways? I wonder if it's trying to burn off any crud that's built up in there, kind of like a self-cleaning oven...

Mine always cleans itself when I'm driving. It drives me .......*n nuts! I never catch it, I can't see the led with the sun out, especially now that we have snow and everything's brighter. I can't really rinse it, or drip into it. Just suffer 'til I can stop and swap out the atomizer. And if that battery dies.......and I swap it out......guess what?!?!?!?
