I did not increase my nicotine level but used a lower nicotine level than when I was using analogs.

This way, if I want to vape my brains out, the likelyhood of getting an OD headache from the nicotine is diminished. (I'm hooked on Janty RY4 and Puresmoker's Riskee Juice. )

Mostly, my ecig has become my pacifier/crutch/nervous tic. Students of psychology can mull that over at their leisure.

All I know is that I don't smoke regular cigs anymore, I can breathe and a cold does not put me in bed for 10 days with a wracking cough and that makes me very very happy.

Sigmund Freud would say you are stuck in the oral phase of childhood development. At least its not the anal phase that you are stuck in.

That "oh-so-funny" one was beyond juvenile, especially resurrecting a thread from last year.

    KATE!!! Again you never disappoint!

    They call it "Thread Necromancy".

And in response: Well, Freud and his cigar would know best now wouldn't he? At least I admitted it.

I tryed the high carts that came with my e-cigs and it just got to be too much. I use the 6 mg mixes and I seem to be able to vap all day without any major problems.

Well that was me, and being 61 years old I will take being called juvenile as a compliment.

We were given a new lease on life, a way to swap a very dangerous habit for a relatively safer one, and a hobby to boot. So what's wrong with having habits? Isn't it possible to just enjoy without worrying so much?

I'm glad that are you not giving up on vaping all together! Good for you Lurker.

However I disagree with not using a higher nic level at first. It depends on the person here. If someone thinks they can handle it, and they where a heavy pack a day plus smoker they might need that higher level. I personally used 24mg the first couple weeks I started and now I'm starting to use 11mg. Gotta use up all my 18mg juice then that's all I'll have most likely! I also want to say to new vaporers... Choose your stance from the getgo and you'll go far. You wana hate ciggs? Tell yourself when your first start vapin how much you hate them, how gross they are, how they wasted you SO much money, your precious health, ect. The mind is an amazing thing that doesn't get enough credit. Use it your advantage! I'm not saying think of smokes all the time, but when the thoughts arise, CHOOSE your thoughts on them Best of luck everybody.

Well here I am years later! I realize now I never OD'd on nic. Quitting analogs uncovered a lot of anxiety. Those times I thought I OD'd were panick attacks I'm pretty sure. I traded my e-cig stuff for Swedish snus a couple years ago and it's worked well for me (and yes I use the strong ones LOL). I really appreciate all the great advice I've gotten on here.

    Thanks!
Not smoking anymore. Loving my swedish snus:D
