Default Gift suggestion and cartomizer question

I would really like to get my dad an e-cig and I think the KR808D-1 model would be best for him. I know he would want something relatively hassle free, and I know he wouldn't like messing with juice or carts because he is farsighted (can't see close up). So my question is, roughly, how long would the original juice in a cartomizer last? He is about a 3 pack a day smoker so I kind of want to know how many cartomizers he would go through a day without refilling them. I'm not sure I would want to get him this model if he would be going through 2 packs of cartomizers a day. Then again, if I did get it, and he went through too many cartomizers a day, or if he didn't like it...I could always use it...that is a good thing.

    Hi,

I'm like your Dad, old, far sighted and an anti fuss with it sort of guy...

I'm a kr808d-1 user who had zero trouble kicking a 45 year tobacco habit with e-cigs...

I'd suggest you get him the kr808d-1 and a pair of reading glasses, after a while he won't really need them but at first you have doubts...

The carts suck the drops off the bottle which takes minimal skill...

By the way the carts do not last all that long (without maintenance) and pushing them to dry will cause burning...

If you mention to him that freshness counts and that a few drops every 20 puffs or so is what you really need to do...

If you think about it, regular cigs also require some effort, and like them it's no free lunch.

I'm pleased with the whole cartomizer consept, and feel he would also realize the no smoke, no pain up side of having to maintain the freshness of his new cigs....

    Day 44 for me...what a miracle
    Best Regards

Check out the Vapor4Life subforum. Their cartomizers seem to last a long time, and thats with me chain vaping on a usb passthrough. I probably go through about 2 carts a day.

And as fonosmoak said, a few drops from the battery side of the cart is easy and extends them even longer.

Also, their customer service is outstanding, including freebies with every order.

Thank you so much for your input!! He already has some reading glasses, but he doesn't like to wear them. This does sound like the perfect model for him. I might get one "for myself" and let him try it for a couple days and if he likes it, give it to him. Sounds like an awesome idea to me! Thank you again!
