Arrow Does vaping taste the best in the morning?

It definitely seems that way to me. What I can't figure out is why. Because the cart has been sitting all night, batteries are fully charged, or because I'm drinking coffee? What do you think?

More than likely it's cause you haven't eaten for 8 or so hours, so your tongue has really no prior flavours on it.

My take on it is that the tastebuds are most alert during the morning. You haven't dulled your tastebuds by tasting the same thing over and over again (i.e. the fourth cup of coffee tastes no where near as good as the first cup even if it is fresh)

Maybe it follows the same concept as the first morning cigarette... body's been deprived of nicotine for 5-8 hours, and WHAM there it is. Hence, it tastes better...? I dunno. I still crave cigarettes when I wake up, but 30 minutes of 24mg clears that up...

I guess I'm different than everyone else.
I get the best flavor when I'm drinking and catching a nice buzz.

And that is USUALLY at night, or at least rarely in the morning.

I've heard others say they can't taste anything when they're drinking though.
I have no idea what's up with that.

I'm the same way, and I think you're on to something with that nicotine deprivation. For me, the throat hit is the most intense with my morning vape, and I think that's why.

Oh, and for anyone still on the fence about trying out an e-cig, yes, they DO, in fact, go great with that morning cup of coffee. Before e-cigs came into my life, one of my biggest fears with quitting smoking was having to quit coffee, because they go hand in hand for me.

Mine tastes wonderful when I wake up. I've always assumed that is was the eight to ten hours of nicotine deprivation I had experienced while asleep. For me, it can't be the freshly charged battery because I usually just leave my PV on my desk fully assembled for when I wake up. I've also never tried it with coffee because my brewing skills, as my delightful husband puts it, are abysmal. :P

Tastes great. I think it's a combo of the nicotine dep overnight, the tastebuds being at their peak, and the fact that I rinse the cart filler, cart, and atty each night and fill them up fresh in the morning.

I think it's because the liquid has had time to wick down and get plenty into the atomizer. If I'm vaping quite a bit, I notice a drier, last tasty vape and will drip a couple drops of liquid into the atty and all is well again. Also a fully charged battery will make a difference since it will give out a little more voltage.
