Exclamation The Association of Personal Vapors Forum is now officially opened

YouTube - The Association of Personal Vapors Forum is now officially opened

Tonight, after a month of beta testing and work, the Association of Personal Vaporers web forum is up. We made this forum with the intent of keeping communication lines open between distributors, manufacturers, and customers, open and free of prying eyes from ASH and the FDA

PM BigJimW there (not here) and ask for the "backyard special". IF you know what I mean.

It's our life. It should be OUR CHOICE. I for one am sick of someone trying to conform MY life to fit THEIR choice! I think you should be sick of it too.

We're officially open? Dang, I guess that means I'll have to actually do some moderating work instead of being lazy and drinking all night.

A vaper's work is never done.

Site looks good Jim, and I'm thinking about joining as well (if you'd have me. LOL). I have one question though, and I ask this with utmost respect for you (Jim) and this forum: What's the difference between your forum and this one --- other than the obvious careful screening for membership? We've got quite a nice community here and it almost seems like starting over or competing, but it's obvious from responses in this thread that it isn't. I'm sure I'm missing something, and being relatively new here, this is the first I've heard of it. FWIW, I fully agree with your feelings on ASH and the FDA and enjoy your videos.

I read your initial post about prying eyes, but as a guest I can read posts (not videos). Is that where the heart of it is, in posts hidden from the general public (read: ASHoles)?

Can you clue some of us in on what your board is about?

Quite easy to answer. The one common thing I've noticed in the past several months is that every time ASH does something, we talked about it here before it even happened. The big problem with all the e-cig forums is that it is too open. Right now, we're facing a ban, and probably a big one at that. It is too easy for the "enemy" to get information here to continue their campaign of ridding the planet of the PV.

I'm not trying to get people away from this place. Quite the contrary, I support the ECF to be a well established forum (which it already is) and I still support this place 100% and plan on being a regular like always. But the big problem is, it's TOO open. And there are folks that already established they will not take some underground route during a post ban era. There is just way too much talk here though that will just end up screwing us in the end.

Until now, nobody has tried to establish this type of communications pipeline. Last month, someone gave me that idea, and I ran with it.

Lets just say that it is time for the underground railroad to be constructed.

I'm not forcing anyone to join. But the door is always open.
