I think you are going to see the 510 replacing the 901... In my opinion its a better e-cig.

    I prefer the 901 over the 510.

i just bought a 901 and i personally like it better than the 510. the 510 seems to produce a little bit more vapor, but then again the manual batteries allow me to take longer drags. i also like the flavor production out of the 901 more versus the 510. im considering ordering manual 901 batts so i can take longer inhales. the 901 has bigger attys which dont get so hot during use. in normal use i would have to give my 510 a few minute break every 3 minutes. with the 901 i can vape as much as i please without worrying about them getting too hot.

More people seem to like the 510 over the 901. I make way more 510 mods than I do 901 mods.

The 901 was my first e-cig and I find myself picking it up every once in a while...It still pleases me.

I'm guessing it might be because of the chinese holiday. Then again it is going a little out of style, but I got mine here a bit ago from a Chinese dealer. I'm still waiting on it, holiday and all, but of course they had it.

I'd say ask around first. The J118 and 801 (typically automatic models) "manual" batteries I've seen aren't anything to write home about. They both feature cutoffs, with the J118 having something painfully short. They both (and it looks like the 901 suffers from this as well) feature horrible manual buttons that routinely get stuck inside of the battery. The 801 isn't even sealed.

The 510 has it's problems, but (not counting mods) it's just the most complete package out there for manual battery users.

I have both and I really like the 901 better than the 510. I feel it has better flavor and not as harsh.

I would say that the 510 is dominating the market now, i feel safe in saying that everybody has one. Thats just aksi hiw it is in the tech industry the new model always triumphs due to better tech and performance.

If i am not mistaken the 901 is about 3 years old.

    I do prefer a 510 but I started on a 901 it is a great beginner e cig
