Default after cleaning my atomizer juice taste lighter

i have 4 901 atomizer that i used exactly one week.
2 this week and 2 last week. (all were new)

one started to produce less vapor so i cleaned all 4 of them
by holding them over steam for 10 seconds each.

    so far so good....
after drying them one seems to make actually more vapor,
but the others are a dissapointment.
2 of them, with the same flavor than before just seem to be lighter now.
they taste the same but way lighter...as if the juice is mixed with water...
and one won't make even half the vapor than before.....

    what did i wrong?
is there something i can do to fix them?

Atomizers are tempermental little things. There could be some kind of foreign material in the bad ones. Boiling them is a popular remedy here, I do it too and it has never failed me. But.....some atomizers just "go bad" and can't be revived. If you're a risk taker, attach the crappy atomizers to a battery and gently blow through the LED end of the battery for a couple seconds to activate the heater and burn away some crud (don't leave a cartridge in it!!) and dunk them in boiling water. See what happens.

and yes, they do taste "lighter" after cleaning with boiling water. there must be a tiny bit of water in that wire wool even after aggressive drying. It goes away. I'm going to try my toaster oven on low to dry one day...

I've had that happen when they weren't fully dried out.

Have you tried dripping a few drops directly on the atomisers after drying them? That usually works for me after I soak them in hot water.

that happened to me too, I think it just wasn't fully dried out. I freaked out and thought I ruined it, but it went away and worked good as ever.

I agree these things have minds of thier own. Make sure the atomizer is dry and you may need to prime the atomizer with a few more drops of e-liquid.

Wait until you get one you think you killed and you throw it in a drawer. A couple of months later you try it again before you toss it and it works better than any other one you have.

I clean mine when I notice the flavor is tainted with a slight burning taste. I blow it out when its cool, then drip 5 drops of juice in it and let it sit for a min. The flavor starts light but by the next morning is giant and has huge vapor.
It is completely normal and really keeps the atomizer from getting gummy from old juice.

i'm new to this (2 weeks), how long does a atomizer last?
what are the signs, just less vapor or completly dead?
