the chinese never make things that easy..

the first one i tried some months back cost 27 dollars.. it died instantly i plugged it in.. buying from china is pure pot luck.. paying more means nothing except u pay more..

the little nano chargers are quite reliable they also put more in the batteries than all our other chargers..

a fast charger is more likely to go wrong than the little nano.. the nano slows right down near the max charge... its quite safe.. its max output of 4.2 volts sees to that..

we have a dozen or so of them running all day as part of our battery charging testing process.. we dont ship sh-t battereis or chargers.. just chinese ones.. he he

the little black one DC links to is okay as a spare..

yes DC.. the first one died the same day it arrived.. the second one died after a couple of e weeks use on it mains supply side.. soon after it died completely

but these things are so cheap its daft to just have the one.. never ever just have the one if u rely on it and use it often..

they are likely to simply fail whenever it suits them.. our original intention was to ship two chargers with screwdriver just like we ship two atomizers.. but we have to keep the cost down.. so its only the one with big emphasis on buying some spares pronto..

rob quite clearly has so far ignored our advice.. but folks do...

ps.. i havnt tried that ultrafire one its the bigger one i have tried..

    Lovin the SD...

One battery has become worthless though. It lasted about 3 days alternating the two fine. After that the green light comes on after half an hour. I eventually tried leaving it on longer, and it's still weak. The second batt is fine, no probs...

I just got my spare batt's from DX, but the charger is being shipped seperately...boo, haha.

I would not recommend this charger :
    DealExtreme: $9.17 TrustFire All-in-One Charger (for 10430/10440/14500/16340 /17670/18650/CR123A)
looks like a better deal beacause it multi-purpose , but mine and another forum members unit went bang...mine went big bang ;(
This is the charger I ordered. Is it really that bad? Sheeet....maybe I'll get rucky, haha.

i think its about the use these things get... kind of the same tale about e cigs in general.. but a bit more random.. mostly solid state electronics ether works or it dosnt.. DOA or its okay...

the chines chargers i think dont overly like the higher UK or Euro mains voltage..

it really aint that bad.. just order two of everything... he he he

allow for the chinese being what the chinese are bless em.. at the price these things come at they are still the best bargain on the planet...

it kinda suites me.. i can have three in use for the price of one and always have a spare if one dies..

just dont ever rely on one chinese anything.. kinda funny aint it.. he he

    trog

ps.. once that green light come on its charged.. the green light coming on too soon means it kinda shot.. i dont think many batteries will fail prematurely but some might.. more the odd one than the norm..

they should be good for a couple of months or so.. we dont really know..

Some observations of mine ... When I first got the 901 I always tried to squeeze the batts to the max... bad old habit from the NiMH and NiCa batts ...
I dont know if this is the reason but soon I got 3 batteries f-cked up
Now with the last 2 I charge them as soon as I feel them weak ... Im not waiting for the led to start blinking
With the SD I go something similar and my both batts are still ok - about 3 weeks already...

DONT squeese LiIon batts... or they WILL die soon
