okay i will offer my "guess" as to the cause of the problem again.. a powerful atomizer needs lots of liquid... a less powerful atomizer is happy with less liquid... big carts anything say over the 901 size do not supply a powerful atomizer with enough liquid... hence the need to direct drip with some and not with others.. so little carts work better than big carts which is a bugger cos it negates all the other advantages the big cart has... a more concise version of what i first wrote but it will do.. trog ps... the amount of fluid a powerful hot running atomizer can shift is surprising.. |

Sounds about right, the generics don't produce the vapour or taste of the Janty, looks like the Janty runs a bit hotter, needs to be dripped.

Glad I saw this thread, I was beginning to think it was just me. The KBC i have is haveing major leaching problems right now, and driving me nuts. IF i top off every 4th hit its fine, but it just will not leach fast enough for me. I have tryed 3 types of carts, 2 types of juice, 2 types of mouth pieces and still the same. I have cleaned the Stuffing if it was gummed, and loosened it, and still the same. It works great, but I need to try something different with the carts till i find something that works. Im not sure if the steel wool is too dense or what, but it just wont leach well. My 4072s work Great and i use one inbetween while the KB refills. Keeping them in my shirt pocket upright helps, but not much. |

I have to agree, the recent atomizers are failing at a miserable rate. They will sent replacements, and are currently developing a mucho betta one, from what I am told. Bottom line, to me, is Janty battery/manual switch/usb is the best with any atomizer so far. I always have 40 plus atomizers on hand, so when they they start to fade, I just mover to the next. I find that when I get a good one, it is GOLDEN. I just wish we had the option of spending more, and receiving the best. Wish they had consistent flavor, vapor, draw, and were built to last. Hopefully in the near future, with the help of engineers/professional/and hobbiests we will get what we NEED. In the meantime, make sure to get enough atomizers, I hope Lude get's it works out REAL soon, and get's em to all us. Cause, when his work properly, I have found NO betta. ![]() Come on Ludo, baby, get us da best |

I would like to see what they have to say over at Janty, from Ludo or Jeff or someone. Is it a new design flaw? Are Others reporting the same problems? I just went over the Atomizer im useing with a meter, and everything looks fine. It heats well, and smokes well, it just will not refill from the cart for some dumb reason. I havent tryed one of the other atomizers i hvae, because i dont want to mess up another right now. If i can get this working it would be cool. I also checked the Batteries and switch, they seem fine too. Havent used the Auto switch since i got it, but i dont think it would make a difference if everything else works fine. *edit PS. - I took some alcohol to this atomizer to see if its just gunked up, could be the wool is clogged with sludge/dry juice. will see later if it helped or not. (note, i know this expires the warentee on this Atomizer, but i have 5 total, in case one is really bad, hehe) To Ludo or whoever, I for one Do Not think this as a bash thread, just one of those discussion threads so we can find out whats happening and how to make it better for all of us, so please go ahead an join in. You would know more about this then we would. We the users are haveing to just guess, which is not always the best. I for one still Really Like the KBC i got, just want it to work right |

Any suggestions for blank carts that have a decent density? | |

I am on week 3 with a new KBC and have had no issues with the atomizer & Janty cartridges. The generic penstyle carts. from Puresmoker kind of work, but do not fit all the way in (too tight). I did seem to get adeqeute vapor though. Jury is still out on whether I will try to use the generic carts regularly. I did notice that the Janty carts. filler material seems to completely fill the cart. shell and the generics do not?? I'll report back as I proceed since it seems I am having good luck with the atomizer.

one simple thing...vapour needs liquid.. larger woolly carts simply do not feed the heater coil with liquid rapidly enough.. as the cart dries out (the liquid is being used) the situation gets worse.. answer keep the cart topped up and wet.. end of matter.. a basic design problem with no answer except smaller carts.. or a completely new system of feeding the heater coils with liquid.. or dont do as much sucking.. trog |
