Default Njoy Pen Style Atomizer Bad taste and death

Hey guys.. Had my replacement atomizer from Njoy for my pen style from them and was enjoying the h3ll out of it here at work.. good ol graveyard shift.. all of a sudden... HORRIBLE tasting hit!! Man did i ever cough!! the atomizer wasnt even that hot and was producing good amounts of vapor.. I pulled my cart out and some of the wool was sticking out. like it was stuck to the bridge. i topped it off put it back in etc.. bad taste... again.. then.. went to try again.. and dead.. good thing i have a spare old one but i was really enjoying the new one.. I hope Njoy doesnt get sick of me asking for parts lol.

Cash is right,
You were hit by the Dreaded "Cleaning Cycle" with a Melted Plastic Chaser

You can clean it, or Drown it with juice, topping off constantly, till the taste gets better for you. Try a new cart too, that sometimes speeds it up.

Simple clean, Hold thumb on battery end, water in cart end, finger over it and shake well.
Drain then blow through the battery end, and let dry, then a couple drops of fluid on the atomizer, then cart it and start regular then.
That helps get rid of the taste sometimes.

Sound to me that it over heating and eat some of the fiber filler it was to dry possibly drip fill more often may help. also the self cleaning is a bear i would suggest a good soak and shake cleaning with warm water and white vingear not to much 75% water 25% white distelled vingear you could even down play the water a little more and use achool instead but soak it 30 mins only then switch to a 5 to 10 mintue warm water shake let dry drip prime it and smoke away

Default Yep, it was the dreaded cleaning cycle

I now have been e smoking for 4 days and reading this forum for the last 3 of them. It's a great forum, so many interesting threads.

This horrible taste is what brought me here the first time.

Everyone's advice is right. Just run hot water through the atomizer a few times, let it dry (I used a blow dryer) and after a full clean cartridge, you'll be rid of that sweet, burnt plastic, chemical taste.

Wow, my first answer instead of a question...

I need to spend more time here. Now I know why I was choking and coughing so hard at first. Duh, I'll go tell the others.

Why do I keep hearing you can ruin your atomizer putting any juice/fluid in it? Can anyone tell me where I can get the best liquid for the money? I have the NJOY pen style. I like it but is there one out there equally good for less? Somewhat of a tight budget here. Also, turning on my family with e cigs for Christmas. Maybe the rest of us will bloody live a while longer. Toodle doo.

Njoy is the same as the ones that most of our favorite suppliers sell, the 4072 Pen model.
I have parts for about 8 of them in front of me right now

Go to Puresmoker, e-smokeytreats, litecigusa, electroniccigarettesales, did i miss anyone? hehe (almost everyone sells that type of e-cig, just under different names)
95% of the Pen model parts are interchangeable.

Fluiud will not hurt the Atomizer, its the battery you have to watch. Since theya re connected, thats why they say not to use alot of liquid.
IF, it gets flooded, it leaks down into the battery, sometimes shorting it out or Gunking up the auto switch in there, screwing things up.
As long as your atomizer doesnt get rusty, your fine, and it will die well before that happens
If you clean it, with water, boiling, alcohol, or what every method you find usefull (i use the simple one above, if that dont work, nothing normally will)
Just make sure its dry, and re-primed with a couple drops of juice, before re-attaching the battery and trying to use it again. A Hair dryer helps this if your in a hurry

*oh, forgot, those same sellers have good juice, most that post here do, plus the new Wicked Juice is here in the states, but i havent tryed it yet, only go by the reviews right now.
