Default Which Mod to buy, Vapre51, Prodigy, Silver Bullet or???

Hi! I really would like to get a mod, but there's only room for one in my budget (after buying 3 starter kits and a bunch of accessories and liquid within the past week *lol*) so I can't decide which one! These are the ones I've been contemplating: Vapre51, the prodigy, silver bullet or the vp1...?
If I'm missing any, please let me know!

First off, the VP1 and the Vapre51 are the same device from different suppliers.

Secondly, your choices are all over the board. The Prodigy is a high voltage device, the Vapre51/VP1 isn't. The SB has the ability to be both voltages.

I think you have more research to do...

I must agree with Richie, first try to decide what voltage you want to vape at, either 3.7, 5v, or 6v+ ( or the option to do more than 1) this will narrow the field a lot for you.

Once you decide the voltage(s) then it is time to weigh price, availablility, pre-oreder times, asthetics, or size of device, type of battery, battery life etc.

ie if you want one to last 2 days, you are probably limited to one that holds a 18650 battery at 3.7v

Having been down this same path very recently, I await my protoge's while using the trusty 510

As you mention your budget is limited, unless you know for sure via experience what voltage you like most allready I would advise either going with one you KNOW you like, or one that has the ability to give you what you know now and an option for more or less to try.

As far as models go, I looked at the gg line, vp1, vp2 vp3(forthcomming) prodigy(in redesign), protoge, silver bullet, screwdriver, super t, adaptever, chuck, glv, bulli, Xhaler(forthcomming) and a few more that are in pre-production as we speak.

Although I opted for protoge, I will probably end up with a GGTS with AFS one day..hopefully.

    Good luck in the quest!

I am very happy with the GG T (Transformer) and have the AFS coming...... I also have the Silver Bullet, but prefer the GG...... I also got the 510 Titan with PassThrough......
Is there a Mod that runs on 5 Volts...... I personally think 3.7 is too weak, the 6.0, too strong and the 5.0 just right......

5 Volts besides the Prodigy and GLV is a
mod maker by user name Robert on ECF.,
Im sure he will send you a pic of his 5v detonator he makes. Nice sturdy design.
Do a search for him and pm him for details.

Also greatlakesvapor.com GLV has 5v very nice. Jay makes these. Most unique looking. Good prices.

5 Volts is sweet. 3.7 is too low and 6 or 6+ at high end.
5 is just about right for a real cig feel when vaping. IMO.
If you like 3.7 great, I dont.

Check out the Prodigy from puresmoker.com . runs at 5v.

If I missed any 5v makers. sorry

I know VP3 is coming out from vaprlife.com soon too..

I have a vpare51 and silver bullet. They are two very different devices. The 51 is slimmer and more lighthweight. You won't have to polish it as it's brushed and I think nice looking. It gives off good vapor. There are adapters for 510 & 901 attys and works well with either 201/801 attys (201's especially). So if you are looking to vape at the lower voltage, lightweight and nice looking, good batt life, then the 51 would be a good pv.

Silver bullet is a very solid, very pretty pv. It works with 510, 901 and 801 attys. I recommend vaping at 3.7 with the 901 or 510's as they tend to get warm at the higher voltage. At 6v the 801 gives monster vapor. I had to cut my nic as my throat was getting sore and I was coughing so hard at the higher mg level.

As everyone else has mentioned it just depends on what you are looking for.

I just got a VP2 from VaprLife. I have only had the thing for about a day and so far I really like it. It runs at 3.7 but I do notice more vapor and flavor than you would get from a normal e-cig battery. I am using it with a 901 atty. I cannot report on battery life as of yet because I have not had it long enough to really test it out. I have a Halloween party tonight so I am thinking i can really run it though the paces tonight. Vaprlife has great customer service and the shipping was really fast to boot. One last thing, from what I can tell the Vapre51 is the same thing as the VP2. If I am wrong please correct me.

Just love my Prodigy and can't wait to get my Protege! 5 volts is great, but I like 3.7 too sometimes.
