So I asked for the usb passthrough battery and the janty minifogger. The pass through battery rocks. The janty gave up the ghost in 2 hours. 2 hours. I was really disappointed, because until that, I loved it. Very small. Great vapor, great taste, but it ceased working within 2 hours. I'm so disappointed. Not what I wanted on christmas. |

My Janty was an overpriced piece of **** that didn't last a week, so I'm not surprised.

Lets face it. Atomizers die, batteries go weak and everything else you can think of is bound to happen regardless of the name brand, the warranty or the amount of users who swear it is the bombdiggity. 2 hours sucks. My guess is the atomizer was probably dry. If the minifogger puts off as much vapor as people are reporting then the only way that can happen is if they have a element that gets hotter than the average one for that size. That means if you go dry and dont realize it your gonna fry it. Warranty should cover you, but the best warranty wont satisfy your nicotine craving for the many days you will have to wait for the replacement. Best have a back up e-cig handy. I have 5 extra atomizers ready at all times. I have 4 redundant battery sources, more than enough juice and many back up e-cigs of all styles. Why? because at one point I didnt and learned my lesson. Had to share with the wife.

| How many cartridges did you use in 2 hours? Was that more or less constant use? My experience is that I can smoke through a cart in less than 30 mins. I know when I get a new toy, I'm prone to just using it like crazy for the first several days. I learned from a previous super-mini experience to just go ahead and switch carts at the first sign of declining vapor. That fogger runs HOT and will not tolerate smoking dry at all. The rule I've developed is to listen to the atomizer. When you stop hearing the "buzzing" sound when you draw, the cart is near empty and you should change soon. I'd see about some warranty replacement [2 hours in ANY case should be covered!] and give it another try. This thing is whuppin' me still after a week, and I love it!

| 100% agreed, and something to add... A lot of beginners will buy extra atomizers, and perhaps extra batterries - but will only buy 1 charger. This is not ideal for a couple reasons... 1) The charger may fry at any time and leave you vaping nothing (rememeber, this is all made in China). 2) You may end up vaping more than what one charger can handle. Grab at least 2 of these minimum |
