Default Got rid of the wet gurgling sound

I have a 510 and solved that occasional (sometimes constant) wet gurgling sound when dragging on it. I was running my fingernail around the edge of the mouth end of the cart (getting the lipstick off) and the end cap seperated a bit. So, of course, I had to take it off to see what it looked like.

Under the cap there is a blank space then another seperator with a hole in the middle like the end cap. That space had a bunch of juice in it. I don't know if this is supposed to be like that but I flicked it out, put it back together, and no more gurgling! It draws a lot better too, smoother, and no sound.

When it starts doing it again I just open it up and flick it out again.

That happens to me sometimes. It's just flooded a bit. Usually I just blow it out from the battery side into a kleenex or something and it's all good.

BriDog, are you talking about the atty? I think lady pamela is talking about the cart. Your suggestion about flooding and blowing out the atty is good.
Lady pamela, you can get the liquid out of your cart more thoroughly by taking it off, putting a tissue under it, and blowing through the mouthhole and repeatedly wiping off the flat area (blank space) until no more liquid comes out.
The gurgling is a warning sign, though, of either drawing too hard, or not having enough cart stuffing to hold the eLiquid in the cart, or overfilling the cart with eLiquid, or having eLiquid that is too thin. There are many other reasons this gurgling could happen, but you should try to identify the cause so it doesn't happen much. If eLiquid gets down into your battery, it can kill it prematurely and you'll need to buy batteries at a faster rate.
If you are using prefilled carts, the issue is probably that you are drawing on the eCig too hard. Draw just hard enough to make it light up on an auto battery, and draw slowly and evenly if it's a manual battery. The draw should not be as hard, and should take a bit longer, than the draw on an analog. Hope this helps some.

I took the end caps off all of my carts. It seems to hit better.

they do hit well without the cap on the end of the cart, but that's the final barrier to keep you from getting amouthful of juice if you overfill it or drag too hard on it. I just pop them off every now and then, dab it out with a napkin and put it back on. good advice though, the first time i took one off was an accident too, otherwise I never would've known there was yet another chamber in there

I just flick it like a thermometer from the light end...usually does the trick.

This condition can be caused by several different things. The most common is that your atomizer or battery are not performing at the level they should. If your battery power is getting low and you try to draw too hard on the cart liquid will bypass the atomizer and get pulled up into the cart air space. It can also happen due to a poor performing atomizer.

If your battery is good and strong and the atomizer is performing like it should you won't get liquid past the atomizer. It will vaporize all the liquid.

Gurgling and blocked airflow come from either the cart or the atty.

For the cart, you can take the cart off and blow through the mouthpiece forcefully into a paper towel, (this doesn't affect the filler which is not in this channel).

For the atty, blow through the threaded end, forcefully into a paper towel. (canned air is not recommended because of the bitterant used and it can be too forceful where you may mess with the coil and connections).

Also to clear the intakes above the threads, cover the bottom hole on the threaded end and blow and suck on the cart end. You can also take a needle to the intake holes.

And 'a2dcovert' is right on the battery aspect too. If you are not vaporizing the liquid, well... you have liquid in the chamber and it will gurgle instead of vaporizing.
