Hey guys,

I've made a new banner tool, specifically for e-cigs. All feedback is greatly appreciated - what would you like to see?

Tumpy...your sig looks ok to me - did you sort the problem you were having?

By the way, you can edit your sig in your preferences and use the 'preview sig' button to see what it looks like.

If any graphicy type people would like to contribute a better ecig icon for the banner I'd be happy to update the image with it!

Pepper, in future if your sig counters are going to provide a link to a commercial site, I think you should advertise that fact ... For this reason I have removed the counter from my sig , I dont wish to appear to be recommending something I dont use and have never dealt with --- I love the idea of your banner, I do not appreciate it being used surreptitiously to direct traffic to a commercial site

There was nothing surreptitious about it, and that was never the intention. I've PM'd you on the subject, and I've taken further steps in my own sig to point out that this tool is on my shop site. The banner creation page itself is clearly marked as running on my site, with a link to my shop - not the most covert operation in the world

I genuinely thought the banner was a cool idea (I'm a web developer by day, and a reseller in my spare time). It was based on the various requests I've seen people post on this site over the months. The banner itself does not promote my site either.

If anyone has any further suggestions on what I should do then please let me know. Preferably through a forum post or PM, instead of attacking my naivety in their sigs

P.S. I added the number of 'analogs' you've avoided since starting vaping to the banner. It's quite a scary number after just a few months as a light smoker!

Excellent - I really don't want to come over as some sneaky **** trying to trick people.

I've updated my sig line, and I've made some changes on the actual banner creation page to make it clearer there is a shop on this site. I accept that this could have been clearer from the outset, but all I can do is stress that this was not done with malicious intent.

Anyway, looks like we're all sorted so let's move on!
