It might not be an analog habit resurfaced, but this reminded me of my most idiotic vaping moment, possibly even THE most idiot vaping moment ever.

I was having a rough morning getting ready for work, having overdone it a little the night before. I reached for my 510 and took a puff, and was greeted by the familiar taste of dry atty. I grabbed my bottle of custom mixed grape/menthol juice. Without taking my eyes off the American Dad episode I was watching, I slowly unscrewed the cap, paused for a second, then squeezed a nice size drop DIRECTLY ONTO MY EYEBALL. The menthol created quite the burning/blinding effect as I ran to the bathroom to flush out my eye. While rinsing, i took time to reflect on a post I had read on here about how menthol crystals can blind you. Yeah, another part of my morning routine is eye drops. I showed up to work 15 minutes late, looking like the Terminator, but with a still functioning eye. Whew.

Well, I have to admit I have done the "toss it in the toilet" maneuver. Was in the bathroom at work sneaking a vape. I had my Penstyle gripped in my teeth. I leaned over to put a seat cover down and SPLASH ... I've got tip & cart in my mouth and battery & atty in the bowl. Result: Penstyle batteries apparently die within 24 hours of full submersion in water.

Oh my gosh...I'm not the only idiot in the bunch! I keep my bottle of Tears on my desk next to the PC, as well as a few juices. I was watching a movie on my PC in the dark and my eyes felt terribly dry. I reached for the Tears and squeezed a huge drop into my left eye and saw stars...very oily stars. I, too, was scared to death that I'd go blind. Flushed the eye for 5 minutes with running water and then put the real Tears in. The reddness lasted for a couple hours, but no permanent damage, other than to my pride. The Tears and the juices now occupy separate sides of the PC.
