What is it that has you saying they don't fit? Really tight? Do the carts have a whistle tip?

The cartridges for the 510 and 901 are pretty much interchangeable. Those from a 901 will usually be a tight fit going into a 510 atty but they do work and loosen up after use. I use 901 carts in my 510, I like the whistletips.

Don't use a lot of force in trying to make the cart go in to the atty. You can take an emery board to the part of the cartridge that is keeping it from fully seating, light sanding, doesn't take much.

Not all 901 carts are the same size. It seems the ones that are made like 801 carts where the mouthpiece is separate from the cart are the tightest on the 510. the "0" types fit snug but not too tight. Used to get those at dietsmokes but he's out of them.
