Default What's the Trick to filling a Rev 702?

What is the trick to filling the Revolver 702 carts? Everytime I fill one, we pull the fill out, put a couple drops of e liguid, put the fill back in, couple more drops, put it back togther - take a drag - and we get a mouthful of juice.
It sounds like I am smoking a bong... what are we doing wrong?
The fill is sooo small in there. Do I add more than what comes with them? What's the gig?

To refill mine.. I push the inner cart up using an unbent paperclip through the mouthpiece hole. I don't remove the inner cart.

I take the same paperclip and run it down the side of the filler... making a hole that runs down to the base of the inner cart. This allows air to escape.

I slowly drip in my liquid. Depending on drop size.. usually about 8-10 drops. You can tell when it is full.

I take the end of the paperclip and pull the filler up until it is flush with the top of the inner cart.

I carefully push the inner cart back down using one of the silicone plugs. (Or something else that won't push on the filler)

    Done.

I don't use it but my two models, I always fill and then let sit for a bit, otherwise, I get a liquid in the mouth.

Use Scottbee's filling technique, but push the flavor cart all the way out of the mouthpiece and twist up a paper towel to get excess liquid out of the mouthpiece. Also, dry the outside of the flavor cartridge and then reinsert.

A 702 should be able to take 7-10 drops of liquid when dry and in order to hit the polyfil and not the sides, you should push up the cartridge, so you can see what you're doing.

8-10 drops - wow - that is a lot more than I thought I could use. I think I pulled a real newbie move and put filler in a cart that had no inner cart in it. All that was there was the outer cart and the filler. I think that was a huge problem. So I do know now that there is an inner cart. How much filler do you put in them? Thanks for the advice. I will try these steps!

Thanks to both of you for the advice. I am going to try both methods. I even had one of my carts (the one attached to the second atomizer) leak in my PCC. That was a drag. I think I just put too much juice in it. Still trying to get the right amount of fill in there to absorb the juice.
Do you get the gurgling sound a lot with the 702's?

I never bother to push the inner cartridge up or take it out. I just let 4 or 5 drops go right down the center of the cartridge every time I top it off. I put the cartridge back on and hold it vertical for a minute to let any juice that may have got around the inner cartridge to drain into the atty. Never had a problem doing it this way.

These are instructions for topping off or refilling used carts. I just got a bunch of new unfilled carts. Almost 20 drops of liquid to fill them up. These were not the XL carts that just came out for the 40X series.

I was very surprised at how much they actually held before I beat up on the polyfil.

    Woah!

Just to be clear here. The M702 attys come with a protective mouthpiece that does not have a cart inside of it. DO NOT fill this mouthpiece up with polyfill and try to use it. It will not work, it will flood the atty, you will get liquid in your mouth.. and well... it will just suck!
