    Default 18650 batteries

Sorry didn't know where to ask this so I came here...

Anyway I was wondering what all high voltage 3.7 PV's take 18650 3.7v batteries? I know the chuck does but is there anything else? I just don't want a ton of different batteries to worry about.

Or even one that can take some sort of battery sleeve so that they will fit.. What I'm looking for is a PV that is a little smaller but still 3.7v that I can take will me running or jogging that won't be too bulky in my pocket.

The battery mods that use the 18650 battery are rather large in size. For what you are looking for you could perhaps consider a mod that uses the smaller 14500 battery such as the Protege.

Yeah but I was just hoping there was something out there I could use me 18650,s on so I wouldn't need 3 different sets or batteries

The Silver Bullet also uses an 18650.

Well, technically 3.7 volts is NOT high voltage, and no PV is going to turn it into high voltage. 3.7 is what it is.

What it is is also the voltage of standard ecig batteries. An 18650 charges up to about 4.21 volts, but its rated voltage on the label is 3.7 volts.

Two RCR123R batteries rated at 3.0 volts each can be used in the same amount of space as an 18650, although they are slightly smaller in diameter. This gives you 6.0 volts, which is downgraded to 5.0 in a Prodigy.

I don't actually know what the smallest device that can handle an 18650 is, but I bet somebody here does.

Yeah, honestly I didn't think 3.7 was higher voltage but the mods last longer correct?

And also I know there has gotta be some kind of smaller mod I can throw in my pocket that takes a 18650.

Hmm... maybe a nicostick with a recessed or partially recessed atty? You could size them at ratshack.
