So the big tobaco companies are exemp from "articles used to dispense nicotine for human consumption" ie. cigarettes.

Or are they "approved by the Therapeutic Drug Act"

But to grow your own ........ is legal in Australia ?

I smell a book and documentary, Trumpy. You travel the world, testing your e-smoking in different countries while a crew videotapes you. You get jailed in Turkey, fined in Victoria, locked up in Singapore in a cell full of gum chewers, thrown out of Mexico, happily puff a Ruyan Vegas with Raul Castro in Cuba and become buddies with Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.

You become the Michael Moore of vaping. Your movie is next year's hit at the Cannes Film Festival. Everywhere, people ask: Where is Victoria, anyhow?

A proper advance from a major publisher should get you on your way.

I believe they circumvent the rule by being regulated.

Growing ........ is only legal in some parts, and only in small quantities for personal use.

Trumpy, my passport is not up-to-date, but otherwise ...

Small aside: I'm researching growing back yard tobacco for a magazine series. That could be great fun (and pipe smokers are VERY nervous about tobacco disappearing, so they are turning to growing their own). Suppliers have a ton of PG-based flavorings that are sprayed on the tobacco to make it taste like a Marlboro, etc.

Meanwhile, back to the topic ...

Before discovering "personal vapourising units " I was actually toying with the idea of backyard tobacco.... of course here you cannot legally grow 3 or 4 of the "commercial" varieties, but there are a couple of "ornamental" tobacco's that can be legally grown, some have relatively high nicotine levels. The art is in the fermentation I believe tho?
I was also considering the possibility of nic extraction , but as I am on a small rural property with no offsite sewerage , disposals of the by-product liquids would be too nasty .
But it may come to this yet?

Note to self " SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE they ARE turning me into a criminal !!!!! "
