Default dropping juice on an atomizer makes it retain that flavor :(

I find that if I drop, let's say vanilla, on an atomizer to keep it moist...it keeps tasting like vanilla even when I change flavors on the cartridge.

I wanted to go from vanilla to sweet hickory today, and no matter what I did, it tasted like...you guessed it....VANILLA!!!

After awhile, it started tasting like bar-b-que vanilla (nasty). Is my only option to wash the atomizer or am I doing something wrong?

Take a tissue - roll a corner of it tightly into a roll; shove it into the atomiser (if you have closed atomiser) so it touches the mesh, but has a little room on the side left (that's why you need to roll it tightly). DO NOT turn the tissue around when it's inside... this will leave threads of tissue behind.
Now blow hard from the battery-side. After some blowing, take out the tissue and do the same with another corner or another tissue. Keep doing this until the tissue stays (almost) dry. Now you have most of the vanilla out of your atomiser; next put on a few drops of hickory - the vanilla will be much much less now, and soon gone.

(With an open atomiser, just hold the tissue against it while following the other steps above)

    Hope this helps
