Sounds like your atty is dry and you need to add a few drops right on the bridge.....I only drip now and no more burnt taste!

It would be very helpful to know what model atty's they are.

Oh and it could also be the taste of the primer

It's always good to blow out the primer fluid in your new attys before use... but to me it sounds like you have a wicking problem with your cart. IMO, just drip.. but if you're set on carts, use PTBs. All my e-cig headaches were caused by using carts and leaking...

Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 dry burns to get the packing primer off. Sometimes you just have to wash 'em.
    Good Luck,

Some new attys come with a crappy primer on them, you can either dry burn it off or you can stick the aty in alcohol 100 proff vodka and soak them for about 15 min or you can boil some water and let the atty soak in that. If you do this it will take some time for the atty to dry some people put them in the oven at 150 degrees for about an hour. drop a few drops on the bridge and u r ready to go.

Also make sure you did not trim your PTB too short. If it isn't slightly touching the wick in the atomizer it won't wick the fluid down and thereby give you the nasty burn taste. There are a few 510's that the bridge is a bit shorter on and this could be the problem.
