Yes. For the 1st two weeks with the e-cig, I used both in unison. After a couple weeks, I put the analogs down & cannot imagine ever going back.

Haven't felt the need. It's been over 100 days since my last smoke. I have been tempted, especially around my smoker friends, but I'm afraid if I gave in it'd start the ball rolling all over again. I have a bit of an obsessive personality and I really enjoyed smoking. I'm surprised I've lasted this long.

When I stupidly wash both my atomizers at once, I was forced to smoke an analog (well, you know what I mean - I had just woken up and had zero nicotine). I pouted and whined about it to my BF the entire time until my atomizers were dry and working again. No, not tempted. Darnit, I want my PV!

    What? At the same time?!?!?!?

Nope, apart from one to see if I still liked them.

    I didn't

When I feel like a smoke I think of how much money each real cigarette cost, in nys 40ish cents a pop, and say to my self at 15ish cents a ml I can vape around 3mls for the price of one real cig.

    problem solved for me

Another one who hasn't felt the need...but I am also just a little bit wary of doing it in case I really enjoyed it and had another...and another etc...

I used to love the act of smoking...I'm not sure you can completely put 25 years of an adiction you enjoyed behind you in the space of several weeks.

So many people here say they quit analogs as soon as they got thier PV. I still smoke. I want to smoke quite often. The only thing that pv's have done is cut down on my analog use (which is great, but...) Vaping is "something else to do" it hasn't become a replacement for smoking.

It is very frustrating for me.

Hello fellow Long Islander. I have been using a 510 since Halloween. I have not a had a cigarette since 2 PM that day...so it is officially 16 days without an analog. I have no desire to smoke a real cig again.

We are all different, it may just happen for you one day without you even conciously realising it.

Remember that there are other options you can use with your e-cig as well...a lot of the folks here seem to have found "snus" quite effective.

And hey, you know what, at least you are trying and you have cut down on the smokes, pat yourself on the back for that.

"Haven't felt the need..." Sounds like the most typical response - and mine as well.

Quit smoking the day my 510 arrived (last week). Looking back at the last few months of analog smoking (30 yr habit 1 pack a day - minimum), I discovered that i would light up and only really need the first few puffs - but was "stuck" with the remainder of a 30 cent cigarette. Lousey, filthy habit and the last of a dying breed at my office (seems like everyone else has quit).

So, now I vape only when I need the buzz (or throat hit).

This is a great alternative for me!
