I never allowed the "occasional slip" to bother me. And even though I actually haven't had an analog in quite a while, I wouldn't condemn myself or feel bad if I grabbed one. I have smoked over 500,000 analog cigarettes in my life. Fact. Another 5, 10.. heck.. even 100.... *shrug*. I'm not going to let that put a crimp in my day.

I enjoy constantly vaping at times and sampling different flavors but sometimes I just need something to kick me in the backside like a couple Newports used to do. I sometimes feel like a junkie chasing that first high when I'm in "pacifier-mode" which seems to be quite often.
For that "just had a cigarette" feeling try some 36mg Totally Wicked Marlboro. It hits so hard I actually had to cut it a bit. I'm finding lately that I don't need quite so much nicotine as I did when I first quite analogues. If I mix 1/3 Nhaler HV juice with Totally Wicked's stuff I get the throat hit and flavor (TW) I need with the mountains of vapor (Nhaler) that simulate an analogue.

Im in the same boat. To be honest, they are a chore now after 4 months. At first, they were fun and I enjoyed filling carts, swapping batteries, trying cart fillers, dripping, etc .

But im at the point where I just want to vape and not have to worry about all the small things.

Received a KR808 last week and it really has taken a lot of the frustration out of all this. 1 battery plus PCC and 3 carts and im good for the day. I still use my 510 at home in front of the PC but I think i've found my go to device.

And I agree with the uber high juice. Today on my way home, vaping 26mg peanut butter, I put my PV in my pocket and said, "ugh, im done for now"

i too, shared all of your frustrations. then i purchased a Janty Stick V2. i went through about 4 because i was using an atomizer that leaked too much into the body, thus flooding the electronics and the switch. after i got my 4th replacement i have found that ANY atomizer will leak a little bit into the casing. so, once or twice a day i take the atty out, wipe it down, blow into the casing and the excess liquid comes out the seam of the 2 pieces. wipe that off, and i am good to go. only occasionally (usually when i leave the atty in overnight and don't let the stick air dry upside down) do i have problems where it leaks so much that the liquid gets into the switch. at that point, i take the battery and atomizer out and let a hairdryer blow on medium heat and high fan, and leave it for about 20 minutes. that dries it out and i'm good. if i am dilligent, and take the atty out every hour or two and wipe off the excess liquid, i'm fine. the batterys have excellent life. i get about 6 hours of heavy vaping out of one battery. the batteries only cost $3-4 a piece, so i just carry 2 charged batteries with me when i leave the house, pluse the USB cord. i have a cigarette-USB adapter as well. since you can use the V2 while you're charging, thus creating an on-board USB pass-thru.

for $85, plus a back up atty and a few batteries, you're good. this has taken a lot of the "pain in the a**" out of vaping for me. i also have a Janty Mini Fogger for a back up. i still use it every now and again. it's a great piece, the carts are just way too small. i only get 3 maybe 4 good hits off of one cart.

also, for the record, i haven't had any of my attys fail for the V2. i've been using the one that i replaced the leaky one with over 2 months ago. so, i'm not going through attys at all.

i'm much happier without analogs. i can't even stand the smell of a burning cigarette anymore. i vape RY4 daily, and use RY1 every now and again. rocky mountain vapor has the best prices i've found. 50ml of RY4 for $22 shipped free usually gets to me in 2 days. can't beat that.

just thought i would share my experiences. i didn't go into great detail with my failures from e-puffer and another company. i don't want to go thrashing anyone.

I just got 48mg (after vaping 18mg stuff), had to cut it down to 30mg, then had to cut it down to 24mg. I try to use the pacifier technique but sometimes I just want to see smoke ... so 24 is just enough not to get a headache.

I guess the downhill slope hasn't hit me, so for I've paid for my 510 in cigarettes, and my three batteries do me fine (knock on wood).

I don't know how you can't be better off without cigarettes - look at all the benefits... You must be crazy.

Good post, but I don't think analogs are as time consuming as vaping. Just rip open a pack, light up and get your fix every single time. It takes alot of work to keep these PVs vaping consistently. It is more time consuming finding a place to smoke however so vaping beats analogs there.

The thing analogs have over vaping is the reliability. All smokes are pretty much the same and a no-brainer to use. The same can't be said for vaping and that is why I think I have yet to completely stop smoking. I'm smoking about 75% less which is great, but in my mind I have the feeling my PV will fail at any moment (and half the time it does) and I still need the analogs around as a safety net.

Can't wait for the improvements that the future will hold.

Gee, I haven't had any trouble like that that you're describing with my Bartleby, but the two sound pretty similiar as far as benefits go. I'm glad you found the answer to the original problems you were having with your Jany Stick. All I can say is I am extremely happy with the Bartleby.
    Cheer Up! It'll get worse.

I just purchased a Protoge with an 801 adapter. I fill the cart with a syringe (from the bottom), put in a fresh battery, and the unit lasts all day. Dependable and predictable, plenty of vapor, good throat hit, and good ergonimic switch. Not a lot of trouble or tinkering, in my experience.

I don't "clean" my atty (especially not by boiling it in cola or whatever is the trend of the week,) don't drip (or minimally so, as i observed that the 510 atty can't take a well filled cart and a large drop without losing efficiency,) use a stock 510 and have no issues. At one time it gave me kind of a bitter aftertaste, so i cleaned the atty by running some cold water through it. Problem solved. I squarely belong to the "if it's not broken, don't fix it" school and frustration is something i've yet to discover regarding ecigs.

If I go somewhere I usually take enough ecigs to cover me but I also have a fear that they are going to quit and I'm going to be stuck without one.
I recently went to a city about 50 miles from my home. I loss my keys and had to call my husband. I didn't think he could find my extra pair. I had to do without my ecig until he arrived and I got panicked thinking it would have to do without until I got home. I never felt this way about analogs.

I don't think everybody gets their atomiziers to produce 100% of the time. I use the Little Chuck now and I have 15 atomizers laying in front of me so I can switch out when one stops working as good. I vape constantly and rarely get a constant consistent throat hit or vapor production.

Its hard for me to believe someone can vape very much without having a reduction in vapor and throat hit at different times. I don't believe they make an ecg like this. If they do I want one.
