Please Reply to This Post- Frequency of Vaping- for Those that have, Thank You!!
Just a regular thought for anyone to ponder.
I just wanted to see exactly what frequency of time throughout the day that people that used to smoke heavy... now, vape heavy but,
1. In comparison, For those of you that just vape now and have quit analogs entirely. Do you still use nicotine- If so,
A. When did you start vaping
B. How long had you been smoking analogs
C. How long did it take you to quit smoking analogs
(If you continued after getting your e-cig)
D. Based on your memory.. What MG of nic did you start with and give a brief synopsis of your progression. For example, I started with 36MG and in 1 month , I went to 24 MG. Now, I am working myself down to 18 MG because I have primarily been smoking tobacco flavors to make sure that I am not tempted for an analog. ( at least, I figure that I would be a little more grounded with the tobacco flavors at first.)
I also want to lower my nic, not only to get away from nic but, I tried several candy flavorings that tasted bitter because of the nic. I eventually want to go down to 0 nic and especially am looking forward to several candy flavors pure taste rather than being corrupted by the nic juice.
2. How many of you vape heavier than you used to smoke analogs and give your explaination of why you figure you are a heavier vaper, otherwise.
Thanks,
Tom

A. When did you start vaping 2 months ago
B. How long had you been smoking analogs 25+ years
C. How long did it take you to quit smoking analogs quit smoking after first puff of my 510, seriously.
(If you continued after getting your e-cig)
D. What MG of nic did you start with and give a brief synopsis of your progression. Started at 18, sometimes use a 24 for a morning vape, sometimes use zero nic enhanced for mega flavor as a treat, still mainly 18mg after 2 months.
2. How many of you vape heavier than you used to smoke analogs and give your explaination of why you figure you are a heavier vaper, otherwise. I smoked heavy while sitting at pc, I also vape heavy on pc as well so about the same overall. The caveat to this is I now use a protege but on the stock 510 at times it was like a pacifier no matter what I was doing, but the enhanced perfomance of the protege fixed that issue by giving a more consistent and stronger vape.
Thanks,
Tom

Early Aug 09
B. How long had you been smoking analogs
25 years 2 pack a day
C. How long did it take you to quit smoking analogs
Smoked for first 3 days, because my kit only had 5 carts and I was trying too stretch them. Got my juice on day 4 and have only had about 4 analogs since.
(If you continued after getting your e-cig)

Started at 18mg cause that's just what I ordered, and I was a little afraid of higher nic after reading some posts. Then went to 24mg. Then 36mg. I now vape anything from 12mg to 36mg. 12mg only at high voltage, 24-36 normally and 48mg when I'm craving a good rush.
I keep it high so on the couple of times I have thought I wanted a smoke and broke down, I got zero affect, and therefore have zero desire to try anymore.
2. How many of you vape heavier than you used to smoke analogs and give your explaination of why you figure you are a heavier vaper, otherwise.
Thats a tough one. I've found it's a lot harder to gauge vaping verses smoking. Mainly because when you smoke a cig, you know when it's finished. With vaping it's like an endless cig, so you just have to guess.
As far as daily amounts. Smoking was easy, 2-packs a day, every day, 25 years. Vaping is anywhere from 1-3ml a day, but it's a lot harder to guess at because I usually have 3-4 flavors going in rotaion throughout the day.

Thanks Highping and Nightshadow..... Great detail in your comments and exactly what I am looking for.
I am doing this as a brief for a thesis and docket to finish a college debate section. I am sure that the comments I receive will more than suffice the questions that my research will answer.. and i am hoping that, as a result.. my findings will also help me establish a good rebutal based on cessation of tabacco products to this e-smoking ban situation, should it come to that.
I appreciate anyones contribution and may eventually update new questions to address ..as this is a thousand page analytical study, as my requirements dictate.
Thanks again,
Tom

started on 36mg and still there, infact it was not until after vaping 36mg @6v that i was able to quit analogs. i just quit analogs and will not be reducing anything else anytime soon. infact i just got a 500ml bottle of 36mg flue cured.

1) Yup... we are here.
1a) Just a week before
1b) 15ish years
1c) YEARS, but after starting vaping: days.
1d) 11mg was killing me, so I cut it with 0nic to make like 5mg/ml juice (JC)
2) I enjoyed smoking. REALLY ENJOYED SMOKING. I vape all day because I enjoy it. I had to cut my nic to like 1-2MG/ml to find middle ground for this. (I add a drop of higher nic eliquid here and there morning and evening.)
Ubuntu is an African word meaning, "Slackware is too hard for me."

1. In comparison, For those of you that just vape now and have quit analogs entirely. Do you still use nicotine- If so,
A. When did you start vaping
Two months ago
B. How long had you been smoking analogs
different times -- 1990 - 1998 and 2002 - October 2009
C. How long did it take you to quit smoking analogs
(If you continued after getting your e-cig)
Completely off cigarettes (I refuse to call them analogs)
D. Based on your memory.. What MG of nic did you start with and give a brief synopsis of your progression. For example, I started with 36MG and in 1 month , I went to 24 MG. 30 mg nicotine -- regular tobaccos flavor so far, nothing else

I actually think I do use more of the e-cigs than I ever did of the traditional smokes. Maybe its not as abrasive? No idea..

I smoked camel wide filters and marlboro reds for nearly 20 years. My wife introduced me to vaping from a co-worker who vapes in a government building where she works. I started vaping the 510 3 weeks ago. I quit smoking immediately. I wasn't even trying to quit. I will never smoke again, but I also never want to stop vaping. It relieves my stress. I still NEED and want the nicotine I have been getting for decades.

Hi there KD....
1: Yes
A: Started vaping on the 7th or 8th of October this year
B: Smoked analogues for roughly 25 years
C: Took me 2 days to completely cease smoking
D: Started on 24mg, still using 24mg
2: Dificult to tell, when you light up a smoke, you smoke it until it is dead over a period of a few minutes, with vaping, I can have one toke or five tokes and then put the PV down for several minutes...I think the real answer is "about the same", but spread out more evenly.
