    Unhappy Tongue sores?

I have seen this listed as a side effect of quitting analogs, but as you can see in my sig, it has been awhile since I have had any. Thus, it seems that these "lie bumps", as my mother called them, are caused from vaping.

To be more specific, they are infected taste buds; very small but pack a punch pain wise. Has anyone else had these, and if so, how have they delt with them?

I tried "removing" one and the pain and blood were not worth going without it for the 3 days or so it takes to heal and another to take its place.

A tiny bit of hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip or sometimes a tea bag works for me.

Lie bumps....Hahahaha, that's what my mother calls them too!

I quit analogues 10 days ago and yep I got a couple of infected taste buds too. I tried removing one using tweezers, but the pain was horrendous and the amount of blood was a bit much for my liking too. I ended up dipping the tip of my tongue into a cup icy cold water and holding it there for a while. I don't know if it really did much good, but all is ok now. If it happens again, then I'll take EonBlue's advice and use a bit of hydrogen peroxide.

Had a few over the course of a few months, but they go away almost as quickly as they pop up.
