Default When and How did you start smoking analogs?

For the sake of conversation and out of general curiosity, when and how did you start smoking analogs? When I ask "how" what I mean is what caused you to start?

For me I never had the desire to smoke at a young age. At the age of 17 (back in 1972) when smoking really wasn't an issue like it is today I got my first car, a 1964 Chevy Impala. Being the first in my group of friends in the neighborhood to get a car, I elected to pick a few of them up for school every day instead of them taking the bus. As the days got colder here in New England the car windows pretty much stayed closed and 2 of the 3 I picked up smoked Marlboro. I can honestly say that it didn't take long for me to get addicted to the second-hand smoke inside my own car everyday and that's what I believe got me hooked.

36 years later I got my first PV (40 days ago) and haven't touched an analog since my very first vape.

    And you?

I quit instantly with my first vape on 4 November 2009. Thank You ECF!

Military. "If you got'em light'em up. If not keep working." July in Texas. Everyone was smoking by the end of basic training. That was 32 years ago. My last analog was also with my first vape.
    Using KR 808D-1

I was 17, and I tried my friend's brother's Marlboro to prove to him that I wouldn't get addicted... Look how much good that did

I was probably 17 the first time I had an analog. I was into sports in high school and some of college, so I really didn't smoke a lot. But after I dropped out of college when I was about 20 I really started smoking everyday.

I remember being curious about smoking when I was a kid, and had my first cigarette when I was 15. I was an athlete and felt incredibly guilty about smoking, but I didn't do any other drugs or even drink alcohol all through my teen years. Didn't really get hooked until I was about 20, and I stayed a more-or-less "closeted smoker" for a very long time.

Haha, that sounds just like me. Even though I loved the taste of analogs, it was the guilt of not being able to perform in sports that kept me off of them.
