    Is it just that the higher the voltage, the more the vapor produced? And what happens to the flavor? I read somewhere that the high-power MODs decrease the flavor? Is that true??? And finally, there seems to be MODs out there that are the same voltage as a "normal" e-cig, so wouldn't they produce the same results as a regular PV?

    Usually mods have longer lasting batteries and resemble some sort of pipe bomb/explosive, lol, and some have the ability to vape at a higher voltage.

    People say HV devices bring out the taste in some juices, yet some say they destroy it. It's all subjective I guess.

    1. length of battery life 1 to 3 hrs for reg pv upto 2 or 3 days for some mods

    2. some mods support higher voltages such as 5v, 6v, 7.4v for stronger throat hit and effect.

    3. i have found that my favorite flavor tastes best to me at 6v and that was the only way that i could kick the analogs by using a 6v mod w/ 36mg eliquid.

    4. concering mods with voltages similar to normal ECIG batts.. those mods tend to have batteries that last 3 to 5 times longer than the standard 180maH batteries. so those mods only have the benifit of longer battery life. but you should get much more consistent vapor.

    To add and repeat....3.7v MODs not only last longer but the batteries tend to have longer life and the batteries are much cheaper. I use 10440 more than my others and they only cost $6 a piece. Not bad since for me they seem to not wear out near as soon as stock batts.

    That answer to your title question is with the mods I have - Bartleby, Protege and Chameleon (and a Janty Stick) - 'consistency' - big vapor each drag.

    Flavor is, for me anyway, much like foods - heat enhances some flavors and diminishes others. The stronger flavors - tobaccos - Kent, Hilton, Flu cured, cigar, french pipe, Camel, Virginia, RY4 etc. and the coffee, cappuccino, liqueurs are brought out with the heat and the lighter fruit, vanilla, chocolate, etc. are diminished but not destroyed.

    As far as mods the same voltage as regular batteries - namely 3.7V mods, there's definitely a difference as was mentioned in a recent thread - DC2 said no one can tell him that a new reg. batt will give him the hit that his 3.7v Chuck does and I have to agree. Someone mentioned there may be a restriction on regular batts to hit peak volts which is 4.2volts on a 3.7v mod battery such as the 14500. And that makes sense to me -iow, it's Not the same, even on initial off the charger draws. What is different is the length of time that a mod batt will hold peak voltages - sometimes for hours and that, imo, is where the consistency comes in.

    No, in my experience higher voltage does not produce more vapor all the time. I have a Bartleby which uses a 3.7v 14500 battery and it puts out tons of smoke with its 510 atty. In the 3.7v range I also have a vp2 (14500 bat) laser mod (10440 bat) and Bulli Elite (14500 bat) that also put out a great deal of vapor. Both my chucks, big and little, put out nice vapor at 3.7v

    I also believe that vg juice opposed to pg juice puts out more vapor as well. The type of atty you use could also affect the amount of vapor that you will put out.

    With some high power mods I get a burned taste but now with the advent of the new atomizers coming into the market, you can safely vape at up to 7.4 v and still get good flavor.

    To me, flavor also depends on the juice a great deal as well. I prefer Janty and eliquid planets juices. I have also tasted some other good ones but it is all a matter of personal preference. Some days I cannot taste flavor too well and some days I can, with the same e-liquid, with the exception of Janty and ELP juices.

    Mods, even with the same voltage as a conventional 3.7 pv are not the same. The material of the pv is different, copper, brass and aluminum and they all have different electrical conductivity. Batteries have different mAH ratings and can last longer in mods then conventional pvs. For instance the 10440 battery that is used in a Janty stick can be from 350 to 600 mAH's. The difference being that 600 Mah's will last longer then 350 mAH's.
