Default Some suppliers only carry PG

Sadly enough, I'm allergic to PG. I ordered 100% VG from Tasty Vapors and have found their juices to be excellent. There are other suppliers that I really want to try too such as Mrs. T but she doesnt carry 100% VG yet.

Why do most vendors only carry PG? Is the taste or vapor superior? Also, I see people talking about possible benefits from PG such as it being an humectant, etc. Would VG provide similar benefits?

I suppose you mean "Why do most vendors only carry PG?" Honestly I'm not sure. I could venture a guess, but I'm sure a more experienced member can offer a better explanation. In regards to applicable differences between PG and VG:
-PG is a much thinner liquid than VG. VG is much more viscous. Some vapers contend that VG is more likely to blow your atty due to its higher viscosity.
-PG provides a better throat hit
-VG produces a greater amount of vapor

The humectant aspect just means that it helps retain moisture. This "benefit," as you've put it, is generally in regards to skin moisturizers. I'm not quite sure what benefit this offers for vaping, but VG would fall into that category as well.

As far as your plight is concerned, I would suggest DIY liquids. You can buy pure VG and flavorless VG juice in different strengths from several vendors. Once you've got that, all you really need are flavors. Many of the vendors offer straight flavorings. Just do some searching and be creative!

Yes I did mean PG and its corrected now. The DIY sounds like fun but im really dying for that bananas foster everyone is raving about! Didnt realize that some pv's might have an issue with VG as I have had no problems. Ty for your reply
